Thumbs down for me

Not liking this product at all its hard to blend into skin and leaves my skin chalky white. Do not recommend whatsoever ever odd because it's pinkish in colour so I thought it would be OK

Great sunscreen and moisturizer combo!

This moisturizer has an SPF of 30 and is great for use on the daily. This moisturizer contains gentle ingredients such as oat and feverfew. Perfect for calming and soothing sensitive and dry skin. I was a little worried as this moisturizer has a light tint of color to it. However, when I applied to the skin it absorbed and blended fairly well but did required a little of effort due to its thicker consistency. I do prefer to use this SPF moisturizer on its own versus under makeup. It has a slightly heavy feel to it and I find my makeup does not blend as well with the product. Nonetheless, this is a great go-to-product on days when I need sun protection and hydration while feeling good about the clean ingredients!

I wanted to love it...

I geniunely wanted to love this moisturizer. I love a product that is multipurpose, especially when it comes to spf. When it is done right, have a product with any additional sun screen agent is a holy grail essential. Unfortunately, this one from Aveeno just isn't it. I tried using this moisturizer over a dozen different ways and no matter what, it pilled horribly. It was literally one of the worst products I've seen for that. I first tried it with my normal routine. Eye cream, serums, moisturizer, sunscreen, makeup. Each item gets time inbetween to soak and settle into the skin. The pilling was outrageous! I had to take everything off and start all over again. So, then I tried eliminating products or subbing in different brands. Nothing changed, some products only just made it worse (face oil, I'm looking at you). Even with no other skin care and just barest amount of makeup, I could not make it work. So, frustrated, I decided the only way this product may work for me is on no makeup days when I just need my face to be miosturized and protected from some UV rays. With that in mind, we fortunately had a day of unprecented mild weather for February in Ontario and I thought, what perfect timing to text out this moisturizer while I catch a little vitamin D. I applied a thin layer (I made the mistake of overdoing it with this product and it was not pretty - lesson learned!), grabbed a book and headed outside. I had to answer a call mid sun sess and the absolute mess left on the screen after I pulled it away from my cheek was unbelievable. Not only had the product just pilled on its own, it left a perfect grease impression of my face on my phone. That was the last test I could think of to put this product through and it failed so, so bad. Now, I'm not going to completely blame the product for all of this. It could very well just be how interacts with my own combination skin (I did try it on the backs on my hands and it seemed to pill a bit less there). Potential buyers should know that there is chance that the problems I experienced could happen to them though.

I don't want to make this entire review negative as there are a few good qualities. 1: It's good for senstivie skin, 2: Its unscented, 3: Uses a mineral sun block, 4: It's afforable, 5: Love Aveeno's sustainability efforts, 6: It has a slight tint that makes things look a little more evened out and 7: After it pills and has to be wiped off, my skin actually feels really, really nice. So, whatever absorbs while it's still on is pretty great.

Overall, I can't personally recommend this Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Face Moisturizer Mineral SPF 30 but I'm hoping that my problems with it are due to my own skin and not the product itself. Unfortunately, not everything works for every body. I still love Aveeno and will continue using the other products they make that I know work for me. In the meantime, I will continue to use this moisturizer on the backs on my hands which is an area that always needs a little more moisture and spf.

I use this as my daily routine every morning. This product is lightweight, very light scent and not greasy on my skin. It’s helped keep my skin moisturized, soft and smooth. It helps protect my skin from the sun especially when I go out for my walks. This is my go to and I’m happy to be using this product. Smooth My Skin

I’ve been trying out new face lotions for a while now, really looking for one that was light but super moisturizing
I am glad to try the Aveeno Calm + Restore daily moisturizer with SPF 30. It provides all-day moisture with 100% mineral actives for UVA/UVB protection.
It’s amazing, I had the gel moisturizer and tried this one as it’s getting cold. Works even better than the gel. It say it’s balm texture but it’s more like a cream or thickish lotion, can be spread very easily. Doesn’t pill. I have super sensitive skin, even the other higher end moisturizer for sensitive doesn’t work. This works perfectly.
It has no smell and also doesn’t leave a greasy feeling like other gel moisturizers do. Definitely recommend!!

thick & creamy with a tint

When I opened the bottle, it had a nice smell to it and when I squeezed the bottle a little, the moisturizer was slightly tinted & not white. This is great as it didn't leave white streaks or marks on my face & didn't make me look paler than normal. I love a thick moisturizer and this Aveeno product is just that. Thick & creamy and absorbs nicely into my skin. It feels comfortable all day. The price is a little high, but I feel for the the quality, protection & feel of the product, its worth it for me.

Moisturizer with Sunscreen

I love Aveeno products and I was excited to try this new Calm + Restore Daily Face Moisturizer with Mineral SPF 30. Having an 'all-in-one' product is appealing to me, as I prefer not to have to use multiple products on my face when getting ready in the morning.

This moisturizer is slightly tinted and has a thicker feel than some other moisturizers I've used, likely due to the added sunscreen. Sun protection is very important to me as I do not want damage from the sun's rays.

I don't know if it's because my skin is ultra dry (due to the winter months), but after applying the moisturizer my skin felt tacky. I'm hopeful with further use this will go away.

I liked the unscented nature of the product.

New fave mineral sunscreen

Im very happy with this moisturizing mineral sunscreen from Aveeno. I have sensitive, combo, POD prone skin and it doesn’t cause breakouts or sensitivity. I really like that theirs no added fragrance or artificial dyes. It has a slight tint that doesn’t leave colour on the skin but stops any white cast. The product dispenses evenly and is a light moisturizing texture that isn’t heavy. I do apply after a light moisturizer and find its good as is. If I had fully oily skin then i’d just use this.

Amazing product

I recommend this product. It works great and smells amazing! I will share it with my friends too! Can't wait to use it more this summer when it's warm again!

Great All Day Coverage

It went on smooth. It looks natural with my skin tone. It lasted all day without feeling like it was caked on. I like that it did not dry out my skin and felt like I was not wearing anything.
