Lightweight moisture

This is a lightweight moisturizer that does not leave any greasiness behind. I like how it feels on my skin and it absorbs quickly. I didn’t find it quite as thick and nourishing as I’d have expected with a gel lotion, but I like it non-the-less. I could not find this particular product on the EWG’s product search, but other Calm & Restore products rate a 3.

moisturizing!!

this product is really good! it’s moisturizing and lightweight, the formula feels super nice on the skin since it’s a gel consistency so when applied it has a really nice cooling affect. my only small problem is that it smells a bit like oats/oatmeal… the scent mostly goes away once applied to the skin but it does still smell since it’s a main ingredient.

Smooth and soft lotion

I was super excited to try a new lightweight moisturizer, especially from Aveeno! Overall I did like the lotion as it moisturizes very well into the skin and even the next day my skin felt great (especially after shaving!). I know the product is supposed to be fragrance free for sensitive skin (for obvious reasons) but I didn’t like the smell of it - it wouldn’t deter me from using it but I wish it had a very light natural scent vs what it actually smells like (like lavender or shea for example).

Dry Skin Remedy!

I have chronically dry, sensitive skin which is always made worse by hand washing/dish washing. I was recently provided the opportunity to try out the Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Gel Moisturizer (and received a bottle for free for trial purposes). Just for context, I kept the bottle in my kitchen for primary use after washing my hands or washing the dishes. I find that use of different soaps and our hard water definitely dry out my hands very quickly! I found the gel moisturizer to be a bit different than anticipated. It came out of the pump looking a bit like a handsoap, somewhat translucent and not thick like other lotions. The formula was very lightweight and easy to rub in. The formula did feel wetter on my hands than I anticipated but did soak in nicely. For the first couple minutes after applying, the moisturizer did feel a bit sticky on my skin but dried to a silky feeling which was nice. My hands did not feel oily but I could tell the usually chronic dry spots were moisturized with a slight sheen to the skin. I found the moisturizer to be quite effective and I didnt feel the need to constantly be reapplying the moisturizer as I have found to be the case with some daily use lotions. Overall, this gel moisturizer is recommended for anyone who has sensitive skin and suffers from dry skin.

Lightest feeling moisturizer

This is by far the lightest moisturizer I have ever used. It feels like silk when applying and it blends in seamlessly into the skin. Initially after application it feels slightly tacky, which I expected from a gel formulation, but after 5 minutes or so the feeling goes away and skin feels smooth. I would love to try a non-gel version of this to see how it compares because this product is very good and I love how lightweight it feels.

Another great product from Aveeno

48 Hours moisture

I received this #freetotry from #butterly and #aveeno. I am very pleased with this all over lotion, I’d adds a nice cooling effect to my dry itchy skin. I love the fact that is steroid free and fragrance free. It really makes my skin feel moist and the flare ups are reduced. The lotion is very light and not sticky or greasy at all. I overall love it.

Great Product with Amazing Results

This product is amazing and provided great refreshing results for my skin which is considerably sensitive. Great moisturizer with a cooling effect that doesn't leave the skin with an oily look or feel. Also love the smell of the gel.

Silky, smooth and scent-free

I've always been a big fan of Aveeno products, so I was fairly certain I would like this body lotion. It's silky smooth and scent-free, which is always a bonus. I've been using it for several mornings after my shower and I can feel my skin is less parched/dry feeling. Another plus is that this lotion will last. A little goes a long way - true value for your dollar!

I received this product free to try from Butterly.
It moisturizes well. It's scent free. It's gentle.
The price point on this gel is a smidge more than I would like to pay knowing I have tried comparable items.
It's a gel formula which is a little different. It goes on smooth and dries quickly but...it sits on top of the skin for a good while (about 25 minutes) before full absorption.
It moisturized well and left my skin soft but I hated the feeling on my hands. I left it and just kept rubbing it in but ultimately had to wash my hands.
We have some real sensitive skin in the house and we all agree the moisture is good but the after feeling is not. I also think I like a product with a little bit of scent. I love Aveeno products and
I appreciate the trial but doubt I would purchase this specific product in the future.
