Not quite right for us.

Never used a gel moisturizer before! We were unsure of what to expect. It worked wonderfully, but went on a little too smooth (oily feeling at first touch) for my son whom is sensitive to touch. It was hard to get him to stay consistent because of them. Thank you for letting us try this product! I am sure it will work wonders for others!

Nice but doesn't smell good

Overall it's nice. Feels good on the skin. Does not irritate.
The only downside is the strange smell that I can not tolerate. I have not smelled something like that before. It's not terrible but certainly not desirable for me.

Sensational

This cream is a very nice product. It provides smooth skin without the oiliness of a regular cream. It’s great on sensitive skin and the best part is that there is no scent ! So if you are sensitive to smell, and have sensitive skin this is the cream for you! Would recommend !

Lightweight indeed

Amazing light weight cream for my hands. Given I wash my hands over 10 times a day it is ideal because it's light weight and doesn't feel slimy when washing the hands time to time.

Feels like putting sanitizer on my body

I had high hopes for this product as I’m a fan of Aveeno but I used it consistently for 2 weeks every day and I didn’t see any difference in the texture of smoothness of my skin. I was a bit disappointed in the product. The texture of the lotion felt like a creamy sanitizer as well

It seems to work okay, but I wasn't exactly WOWed

I like the packaging of the AVEENO Calm & Restore daily gel moisturizer. The bottle is a good size and the pump works well and is easy to use. You can pump as little or as much as you need with no problem depending on how much pressure you use without worrying about too much coming out even with the slightest touch.

They advertise this product as "non-greasy" but I disagree with that statement. After applying, I waited a while then asked my husband to touch my arms to see if he found them to feel a bit greasy still, and he found they did. My hands certainly were for a bit until it bugged me until I washed them.

After one week, I didn't notice a different in my skin. Perhaps my skin wasn't dry enough to make it noticeable. If someone has clear dry sensitive skin, I'd still tell them to give it a go in case they had better results. I do like that the gel is gentle and non- scented.

It's nice

I have been using aveeno products for many years. I am no stranger to the moisturizing lotions. This bottle was fun to try. The gel consistency definitely took some getting used to. I personally prefer the cream moisturizer however this was nice. The cream has no scent so that's a major bonus for a lot of people.

Great for sensitive skin

The moisturizer is light and gets absorbed into the skin quickly. Left it feeling soft and smooth. I like my body care products to have a nice fragrance though and that is where Aveeno lacked for me. But that is a completely personal choice and nothing to do with the product as such.

Ok product, bit watery

I received this product for free to review it.
As stated it did not have any scent I find most 'unscented' products smell like clay and cream, this one simply did not have any scent at all which was nice.
The product is quite a bit watery which is possibly why it is called light, it did go on well but almost sat on top of the skin for a few moments before soaking in, I did not feel as if it penetrated deeply into my skin and did not feel much of a difference while using it compared to other Aveeno products.
I use to really enjoy Aveeno products until I found out that this is not a cruelty free company, its quite sad and dated that this company refuses to go cruelty free considering there are plenty of people who are willing to test their products for free and provide honest reviews.
I will not buy or recommend this product, one reason being it was not that great of a product while the other reason is I refuse to buy stocks into a company with outdated and cruel practices.
