This is a lightweight gel moisturizer. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin, yet moisturizes just as well as any heavier moisturizer. There is a slight chemical scent upon first application, but that does go away. The gel spreads easily and absorbs quickly into the skin. It leaves a slightly tacky feel behind, but my skin feels nourished and moisturized. It also didn't irriate my skin. I like that it's fragrance free and paraben free, making it safe for my sensitive skin.

The texture is very smooth. Skin feels silky and hydrated after using this cream. Very good for sensitive and it’s fragrance free which is added benefit.

I love using the AVEENO Calm + Restore Daily Gel Moisturizer! I recently got a new large back tattoo and you need to use an unscented and gentle moisturizer to apply to it to ensure it heals properly. Perfect timing to receive this product! The moisturizer was THE perfect one to use for this situation. I’ll be using this for future tattoos.

Smooth and soft

I received the AVEENO® Calm + Restore Daily Gel Moisturizer from Butterly & Aveeno for free in exchange for my honest opinion.

I am really enjoying the Aveeno calm + restore line of products. This is my first time using this particular gel moisturizer.

The gel moisturizer is lightweight with no fragrance. It’s great for people with sensitive skin and/or with allergies.

It quickly absorbs into your skin and does not leave you with a greasy residue afterwards. You can see how soft and smooth your skin is after applying. Another hit from this line.

It's just water

This is a very light moisturizer, because it is mostly water. When I applied it, it had a bit of the moisturizer feel from the Shea butter and other oils in it but for the most part it felt like a liquid that was going to evaporate. It did not make my skin feel much softer and after about 5 minutes I needed to apply a better moisturizer to actually make my skin feel moisturized.

Amazing product!!

I'm extremely impressed with Aveeno's calm & restore moisturizer. I'm hesitant to use new products since i have sensitive skin, but after using it for only a few days ,my skin is smooth and soft. The best part is that it doesn't leave my skin oily after applying it and has helped with my dry skin immensely. The fact that I got it for free is a bonus!
