Aveeno Calm and Restore Gel Moisturizer Review.

I recieved a bottle of this product in exchange for my honest review. This product advertises being light weight and hydrating to help strengthen skins moisture barrier. It is fragrance free, paraben free and good for sensitive skin which are all good selling points. I did not love this one. This is the first "gel" moisturizer I have used. I found after applying it and waiting that everything I touched felt sticky to my hands including fabrics. It was a sensation I've never felt before and it was not pleasant. I much prefer regular moisturizers.

A Good Product That Has Minor Cons

I received a bottle of Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Gel Moisturizer free in exchange for providing a review of the product. I liked the product for the most part. It is fragrance free, which is a definite plus. it does a good job of keeping your skin soft and not feeling dry. The real only problem I had with it is that after applying it, my skin felt a touch greasy. It did not seem to be absorbed quickly and my hands felt greasy after applying it.

Aveeno calm and restore

This lotion is more on the watery side. It’s more hydrating than moisturizing in my opinion but it gets the job done which is why I’d personally count it as a recommendation.

Eczema care

This was very moisturizing and perfect for dry or damaged skin. It helped rejuvenate my skin and keep it soft and supple. I highly recommend trying out this product

Not my favourite

Hate the non fragrance smell and it didn’t really moisturizer my skin at all and felt kinda greasy. Not my favourite for sure would reach for others before reaching for this Aveeno.

Good and works fast on skin

I used aveeno gel moisturizer calm and restore gifted from @butterly , I like it , hydrate well no graiss fast absorbed and very light texture but you need to apply more them 3 times it decrease dryness and no fragrance I recommend for those have sensitive skin

Smell

Everything is good including moisture but the smell is awful. I cant bear it at all. If it is fragrance free than atleast something should be done to remove this smell.

Mixed feelings

The product goes a long way. Half a pump is all that is needed for the hands. No scent free, which is great for sensitive skin. I find there is a different feeling left on you skin then what other lotion moisturizers leave. Also, my dry skin doesn't feel completely moisturized after applying the product. Would recommend for someone with light dryness but not for someone with lots of dryness.

Good Moisturizer, however a bit oily

This moisturizer smells lovely and the gel format a great texture. However, it does not seem to pull into the skin effectively, leaving a oily layer ontop of the skin. Leaving everything else I touch oily too.
