Dry Skin Remedy!

I have chronically dry, sensitive skin which is always made worse by hand washing/dish washing. I was recently provided the opportunity to try out the Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Gel Moisturizer (and received a bottle for free for trial purposes). Just for context, I kept the bottle in my kitchen for primary use after washing my hands or washing the dishes. I find that use of different soaps and our hard water definitely dry out my hands very quickly! I found the gel moisturizer to be a bit different than anticipated. It came out of the pump looking a bit like a handsoap, somewhat translucent and not thick like other lotions. The formula was very lightweight and easy to rub in. The formula did feel wetter on my hands than I anticipated but did soak in nicely. For the first couple minutes after applying, the moisturizer did feel a bit sticky on my skin but dried to a silky feeling which was nice. My hands did not feel oily but I could tell the usually chronic dry spots were moisturized with a slight sheen to the skin. I found the moisturizer to be quite effective and I didnt feel the need to constantly be reapplying the moisturizer as I have found to be the case with some daily use lotions. Overall, this gel moisturizer is recommended for anyone who has sensitive skin and suffers from dry skin.

Great lightweight everyday moisturizer

I loved it. It’s a great lightweight moisturizer that doesn’t make me feel greasy and heavy . I use it under my makeup and for everyday use when I need to add a bit of moisturizer without slathering on

Nice daily lotion

This is a great gel moisturizer for everyday use. It moisturizer my skin and did not irritate it at all. I would say it is great for someone with sensitive skin. There isn’t much of a scent to it. I would probably buy again. I don’t see any downsides to it.

Lightest feeling moisturizer

This is by far the lightest moisturizer I have ever used. It feels like silk when applying and it blends in seamlessly into the skin. Initially after application it feels slightly tacky, which I expected from a gel formulation, but after 5 minutes or so the feeling goes away and skin feels smooth. I would love to try a non-gel version of this to see how it compares because this product is very good and I love how lightweight it feels.

Amazing moisturizer

I love this moisturizer,it worked for me as it's lightweight to apply in night as well as day .it's also absorb into skin very quickly. It has prebiotic oat concentration plus aloe and B5 formula to relive the dry skin.no oil spots on my pillows and no irritation from it.it just soaks in my skin without feeling like you have a layer something left behind.if used everyday as you long term moisturizer it will surely make a big difference in the appearance of your skin.

Always a lifesaver!

This product is impressive, always a lifesaver. My family suffers a lot from skin dryness and itchiness due to eczema. This has provided a fast relief with its calming properties of prebiotic oat, aloe and pro vitamin B5. The cooling effect of it on the skin is so soothing. So lightweight yet very moisturizing, non-greasy and fast absorbing that you can apply all over the body liberally without feeling sticky. Skin definitely feels pampered.
