Everything I wanted and more

So I have super dry skin, and loved that this didn't give a gross film on my arm. It actually absorbed everything with a nice little glow that it left.

Easy glide and hydrating

Aveeno calm restore is one of my most favourite line of products and this moisturiser has suited my skin very well. It’s very useful for the not too dry days and nights because I prefer heavy oils for such very dry times. I loved it and would definitely repurchase.

Nice moisturizer, but not the best scent

This is a lovely moisturizer that dries quickly, and doesn't feel greasy afterwords. It left my poor dried out hands feeling much better. If I had one complaint it would be the scent. I don't think it has a specific scent, but it comes off a bit chemically if that makes sense. Point in its favor though is that it's not a strong smell, but it's still not the most pleasant of smells.

Pretty good moisturizer

I do like this product. It takes a little getting used to is being a gel but it does absorb nicely leaving my skin soft. The only criticism I have us it smells kind of weird.

Soothed and Light

I was recently given free of any charge a full size bottle of Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Gel Moisturizer a try, and here's my honest take on it!

The Good:
* Gentle Giant: This moisturizer lives up to its "calm" name. It feels very gentle on my skin and soothed any irritation I had going on.
* Lightweight Champion: The gel texture is super lightweight and absorbs quickly. It leaves no greasy residue,which is a big win for me, especially during warmer weather.
* Fragrance Free Freedom: Huge plus for those with sensitive skin (like me!) that fragrance can irritate.

Not-So-Good:
* Moisture Meter: While it's hydrating, for extremely dry skin, it might not be enough. I found myself needing to reapply throughout the day, especially in drier areas.
* Breakout Boogeyman?: This isn't a dealbreaker for me, but it's worth mentioning that a few reviews mentioned breakouts. It might be a good idea to do a patch test before slathering it all over.

Overall:
I really enjoyed using the Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Gel Moisturizer for its gentleness and lightweight feel. It's a great choice for sensitive skin that's not overly dry. If you have very dry skin, you might want to consider layering it with a hydrating serum or using a richer moisturizer at night.

I got to try Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Gel Moisturizer and it is great for my sensitive skin. Its lightweight gel texture feels refreshing and I found that it absorbs quickly and left my skin feeling hydrated without stickiness or heaviness. I used this both in the morning, after a shower and also before bed and had no greasy residue on my clothes or sheets.
Infused with oat and aloe extracts, it calms and soothes irritated skin. I thought my skin felt smoother and had less redness after use and I liked the fragrance-free formula. The bottle is a generous size, made with 30% post consumer recycled plastics with a pump for easy application. Whether you have dry patches, redness, or just want a lightweight moisturizer that won't clog your pores, this gel is definitely worth a try!

Perfect Gel Moisturizer

My daughter has very sensitive skin, itchy, dry, and easily irritated. We have many different products to soothe her skin but there is a greasy feel. This lotion is nice, light, and has a “natural” smell. Her skin is clear, feels comfortable, and the dryness and redness is gone. I have been using it everyday on her and her skin has been perfect!

Not like the others!

This was my first time trying a gel moisturizer. I was a bit apprehensive before giving it a try fearful it would feel sticky on my skin. To my delight, after a few seconds the gel moisturizer absorbed right in without a trace leaving my skin feeling smooth and nourished! I even found it worked well on my psoriasis, keeping my skin hydrated and feeling protected throughout the day. Overall, I liked the moisturizer, the only thing I didn't care for was how it felt on my hands, it felt like I had a film on my fingertips. Aveeno is my favorite line of moisturizer, I typically use the Stess Relief, I liked this one but I don't think I liked it enough to switch from my favorite Aveeno Stress Relief!

Lovely

I have really been enjoying using this gel moisturizer. Aveeno is a brand that is always great quality and this did not disappoint. Because it's a gel it is very light and absorbs quickly and gives relief. I love it and plan to repurchase.
