Doesn't really do much moisturizing

Used this product every day for 2 weeks. Liked that it didn't have a strong odour but did not find that it provided any moisture to my skin. Made my skin itchy and was still dry after use. Typically I enjoy using the Aveeno Calm & Restore products but this was not something I would recommend or purchase in the future.

At best, a 5/10

Pros
-It is hydrating and you don’t need a lot
-Smell is very light and not bothersome

Cons
-Leaves a film on my skin which made me feel like I should wash it off
-It does have a greasy feeling to it
I didn’t notice any difference in texture between the gel and my normal lotion. I wouldn’t recommend this product.

Not convinced to switch brands

I received this product free from butterly.com. AVEENO® Calm + Restore Daily Gel Moisturizer (Lightweight) did not work as intended for my dry skin. I do like that it is fragrance/paraben/dye free, however, I found that it did not absorb into my skin as well as my regular brand. Instead it made my skin very greasy & therefore it did not help heal my dry skin.

Not good enough

Well the truth is that I don't like this product enough…
It's not as moisturizing as I wish it would be… & the ingredients do not shine enough neither so it can get 2/5 from me…

It's just water

This is a very light moisturizer, because it is mostly water. When I applied it, it had a bit of the moisturizer feel from the Shea butter and other oils in it but for the most part it felt like a liquid that was going to evaporate. It did not make my skin feel much softer and after about 5 minutes I needed to apply a better moisturizer to actually make my skin feel moisturized.

Too sticky

I did not like the feeling of the gel. The feeling and lime stickiness of the product left me not wanting it on my skin at all. I much prefer the normal lotion style compared to this

Ok but Not Great

This product is ok but I would not say it is great. With this product being formulated with oat it is not ideal for someone with sensitive skin. I have a pale complexion with sensitive skin and tendency for my skin to turn red and blotchy when irritated, the oat formula did just this to my skin. I needed to shower within a couple hours of using this product to get the redness to go down and my body to cool off.

Sticky residue on skin not impressed

Receiving this aveeno product #forfree was exciting as I normally love Aveeno.
This gel is sticky and uncomfortable. It leaves your skin feeling tacky and sticky to the touch. Not worth the moisturizing agents in it if it's not going to soak into your skin.
Would not purchase.

May bot be suitable for sensitive skin
