Silky smooth

This moisturizer is different in the way that it is a gel rather than a cream. When putting it on, it feels almost like water on your hands which I thought felt a bit strange at first. HOWEVER after using it a few times, my hands felt like silk once the gel kind of dried. And left me feeling so smooth and hydrated.

Light and smooth, ingredients could be better?

I loooove the gel consistency. Really do. But noticed the phenoxuethanol... so not sure.

Love the non smell and how quickly my skin absorbed.

My husband liked it too and he has eczema!

It's ok

I find the product to watery so it goes on like water would I really did not like it all I would not purchase it maybe it was my skin but I really found it too watery

Aveeno Calm + Restore Daily Moisturizer

I like the packaging.
I like that it is lightweight.
It is not greasy when you apply it on your skin.
True to what it says, it is fragrance-free.
The only drawback here is that you will only feel your skin soft after 30 minutes or so after applying it. Although it does its job, moisturizing the skin, I would appreciate it even more if the effect is instant or would take a lesser time to notice its efficacy. But yes, it does the job.

First time using a gel moisturizer!

I tried out the new AVEENO® Calm + Restore Daily Gel Moisturizer. This was my first experience with a gel moisturizer, its a different feeling than a lotion. I found the product work very effectively in moisturizing my skin, however I did find it left a slight residue on my skim which I didn’t much care for. It was also like an oily residue (maybe from the Cetyl Alcohol?). I enjoyed that it includes prebiotic oat, aloe, and Pro-Vitamin B5 but I disliked that it contains preservatives such as Phenoxyethanol and likely wont buy it due to this.

Good but not my go to

The consistency of this moisturizer was very nice. Not too thick, a little on the thinner side and very lightweight. Maybe that's why I felt it wasn't really soaking into my skin as much as I would like. I had to apply multiple layers in the same are to feel hydrated. I did like that it was gentle on my sensitive skin and did not break me out.

Indeed is lightweight

This moisturizer does what it says indeed is lightweight and feels like nothing on my skin yet my skin glows!
One thing thing I love about this moisturizer is its versatility. It's gentle enough for daily use, yet effective enough to provide long-lasting hydration throughout the day. Whether I'm spending the day outdoors or working from home in air-conditioned comfort, this moisturizer keeps my skin feeling soft, smooth, and nourished.

Wish it had fragrance

I prefer moisturizers with som sort of fragrance. I don’t need it to be super strong, but do prefer some kind of scent.

The actual product itself worked well, and did make my skin feel less dry. It would work well for sensitive skin and also those who have allergies to scents.

A little too greasy

Love the natural ingredients.
Love the scent free and for sensitive skin condition.
However, once applied it left the skin a bit too much of a greasy feeling for my preference.
Gel glides on nicely.

Doesn't Absorb

This is the first time I have tried Aveeno Calm and Restore Gel hand cream. I love that the scent is very minimal and there are no added fragrances or dyes. It's a smooth creamy texture and a little goes a long way.
The reason I gave it a 3 star, is because it never absorbed into my hands. My hands felt wet or oily for a long period after I used it, which turned me off from it. I'm not sure if it's because it's a gel or not.
