Unsure about it

I usually have super dry, flaky skin that gets super oily only hours after applying cream or lotion. Washes seems to just dry my skin further. This was an okay product. It exfoliated well, as I was left with fewer flakes, but it left my skin tight and dry afterward like any other wash. Which, then led to the super over oiled looking skin afterward. It exfoliated well, but seems on par with every other face wash out there.

Kind of disappointed

I was kind of disappointed in this product. It was just far too liquidy and I felt like it was doing nothing to my face. Like you can’t really scrub, rub it in or something. Like it wasn’t sticking to my face so I had the impression it wasn’t doing anything. I do like how it has PHA and is targeted and works for us with sensitive skin. Also bonus points for being gentle and unscented

A Very Gentle Exfoliator

I was selected to try Aveeno's new
Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator AND Calm + Restore Skin Therapy Balm for FREE!

I found the Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator to be extremely gentle (a little too gentle for my personal taste), but it left my skin feeling hydrated and soft. I did find that with my combination skin it made the dry spots feel great, but the oily sections felt even more oily. As someone with sensitive skin, it didn't irritate me at all and it's also fragrance-free with no parabens, sulfates, or dyes. And of course it doesn't clog pores. I recommend this product to those who have sensitive and dry skin!

Non-Abrasive Exfoliator

I received the opportunity to try Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator courtesy of Butterly. I use facial exfoliators as part of my regular skincare routine a few times per week. I did not like this product upon initial application as I prefer exfoliators that have a fine grit to them; this product has a creamy texture. However, my skin felt thoroughly cleansed upon rinsing this product off, without feeling stripped. The non-abrasive formula effectively cleanses skin which is perfect for those with sensitivities, but I prefer exfoliating products that have a texture to them.

A good exfoliator but non recyclable packaging

Got this exfoliator from Butterly and Aveeno, and tested it daily for ten days. Very smooth texture with no smell, didn't cause any negative reaction on my skin. Left my skin feeling clean but I did miss the feeling of a mechanical exfoliator, although to be fair, that's a personal preference. Was happy to note that the tube was made of 40% recycled plastic. It disappointed to note that it wasn't recyclable, that's a huge negative factor for me.

Perfect for Sensitive Skin

Aveeno Calm & Restore PHA Exfoliator is the perfect exfoliator for people that cannot use a physical exfoliant or have very sensitive skin - Aveeno is know for their soothing, nourishing and calming ingredients and this is no exception. For me while I love the concept - this product just isn't for me for a few reasons, the consistency of this product is very runny almost like a light lotion feel, application is fairly simple just spread it on where you want to exfoliate but afterwards I didn't really see any difference after using this product. There is no scent to this product and the tube is a bit small for a exfoliator especially if you're going to plan on using it every day as I don't think it will last that long.

Overall I do love the idea behind this and I do think a lot of people will really love it and work for some but for me this just wasn't for me and didn't find it really did anything

Plus une crème qu'un exfoliant

Belle texture, mais je trouve que lenprodiot ressemble beaucoup plus à une crème qu'un exfoliant. Aucune granule à l'intérieur pour l'exfoliation donc je ne voit 0as comment le produit peut fonctionner :/

Trop liquide

Étant une fan de Aveeno depuis longtemps, j'étais très heureuse de pouvoir évaluer ce nettoyant pour le visage. Cependant, je n'ai pas vraiment apprécié. Le produit etait liquide et loin d'être un exfoliant commen mentionné. Le produit ne mousse pas non plus. Ne ressemble pas à un nettoyant

Not much effective

Did not have enough time to test it (3 days only). After using it I do not feel much difference, my skin gets a little bit dryer and itchy. Maybe after using it for a longer period of time I'll see a difference.

Not as expected

When I first tried this I was shocked at just how gentle it was, and not in the best way. It may be "too" gentle as there is no exfoliation happening when applied. It just feels like an average cleanser when used. However, it does do well at cleaning the skin as well as providing a lot of hydration. I tend to have dry skin and this left my skin feeling very smooth after use with no dry patches. It was like a cleanser and moisturizer in one, but as for an exfoliator, I wouldn't use this again. As for the scent, it's a typical cleanser scent, nothing too strong. It was also great for my sensitive skin as it claimed. I had no redness, itchiness, or any other type of reaction.
