Holy grail product!

The AVEENO® Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator has truly transformed my skincare routine. I've always been a fan of simplicity when it comes to skincare products, and this exfoliator fits the bill perfectly. What sets it apart is not only its minimalist ingredient list but also the absence of any overpowering scents. It's a breath of fresh air for those of us who prefer to keep our skincare uncomplicated. I've made it a ritual to use this exfoliator every night before going to bed, and the results have been outstanding. One of the standout features for me is how it leaves my skin feeling incredibly soft and nourished. The gentle exfoliation properties of polyhydroxy acids (PHAs) work wonders in removing dead skin cells and impurities without causing any irritation or redness. It's suitable for all skin types, but particularly a blessing for those with sensitive skin like mine. This product ticks all the right boxes and has earned a permanent place in my daily regimen.

A solid product

I was excited to try the AVEENO® Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator because it was a new product to me. I was happy to find that it is fragrance free and was super gentle. I love using a gentle exfoliator as it is great for my sometimes sensitive skin.

It has PHA (polyhydroxy acid) which works with the oat oil to protect the skins moisture barrier. This is important for me because it doesn’t dry out my skin

Great Exfoliator; Odd smell...

This exfoliator works wonderfully for my acne-prone skin. My pores feel much more alive after use. The texture is unlike normal scrubs, it is very smooth and gentle on the skin. However, the one con that comes with this product is the smell. It smells like very bad glue. I am not sure if it is just mine as others say it smells good but otherwise the product works well.

Not what it seems

This product was advertised as an exfoliating scrub, however it is not actually a scrub. It is a chemical exfoliant. That being said, it was very gentle on my sensitive skin and I used it on a non-tretinoin day. I would consider purchasing this again if the product was more clearly described on the bottle.

A good cleaner

Likes: dermatologist-recommended; non-abrasive formula; gentle; sulfate-free, fragrance-free; hypoallergenic; nutrient-rich; alcohol-free; dye free; non-comodegenic; tube made with 40% post-consumer recycled plastic. I wish it didn't have sorbitol in it, though.

Nourishing Exfoliator

The Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator is a thick smooth cream that doesn't lather and has no exfoliator beads that typical exfoliators have. You only need a small amount to cover the face. It feels really nice and washes off easily leaving no residue. I have a combination skin type, this cleanser was very gentle making my face feel clean and refreshed. Overall, this is a nice gentle cleanser but not much of an exfoliator.

Gentle yet effective exfoliator

I suffer from rashes/eczema related skin problems and am discounted from a lot of strong exfoliants due to the sensitive nature of my skin. I have to be intentional and methodical about how I choose my skin care products. Aveeno products are already a part of my routine but when I got to try the Aveeno Calm & Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator for sensitive skin, I was pleasantly surprised at just how good the exfoliator was yet still gentle enough on my skin. Very pleasantly surprised. If you suffer from sensitive skin and wonder if you can include an exfoliator in your routine, then look no further.

Good but not mindblowing

My skin type is combination and sometimes sensitive, and I thought this chemical exfoliator worked great for my skin. It is extremely gentle and doesn't bother any of the more sensitive areas of my face. I haven't seen any changes in my skin and I'm not blown away by the results, but my skin does feel very moisturized and smooth after using this product. I enjoy using it, but don't think I would purchase it with my own money.

Gentle Exfoliator

I suffer from severe eczema that causes dryness and itchiness. Despite not noticing significant changes in my skin's condition, I found the cleanser to be incredibly mild and soothing, leaving my face feeling rejuvenated and revitalized. Unlike other cleansers I have tried before, this one did not leave my skin feeling dehydrated or irritated.

Great Product!

This is a terrific product! It makes my skin feel very soft and clean after washing. I have combination/acne prone skin, and after washing my face a few times with this, it seems to work well!
