Personally did not like texture

This product has some oaty neutral scent to it. However i did not notice any scent after rinsing off the product. In terms of effectiveness, i feel my skin is definitely softer every time i used product. It also didnt make my skin dry and flaky like a lot of product does. However, dont expect it to help remove any make up of your face (you still need makeup remover). Personally i didnt like the texture of the exfoliator. It felt just like lotion - there were no microbeads/sand/sugar. It just felt very liquidy...like it just dissappears as soon as I put it on my face.

Thank you #Butterly and #Aveeno for providing me with an opportunity to try this product out for free in exchange for my honest opinion. This product is different from other exfoliate products because you cannot feel any beads. Glade on smoothly and silky when you apply it on your face and neck. Using it for approximately a week, I didn't notice any difference. For sure, this product is gentle enough that it can be used on a daily basis. My face did not feel dry at all. May be I will notice the difference later when I just it for a longer period.

Didn't feel good to me

I tried this product while my face was wet and the application was smooth but when I tried to wash it off it felt like it was still on me. Took me about 3 minutes until I felt I got it off. My skin feels about the same as before and I didn't feel very refreshed after.

Gentle, but is it effective

The packaging is simple and easy to use. The directions are lost on the bottle but it’s easy to figure out. The product is so smooth and gentle, which was nice on the skin but with an exfoliator, something to feel like it is working for me is needed.

Okay Clean

I received this product for free thanks to the folks at Aveeno and Butterly in exchange for my honest opinion. I received the product later than anticipated, so was only able to use once before my review was due. I liked the thickness of the cleanser and can admit it felt soothing. Not sure why it is called exfoliator. Thank you Butterly!

Is it really an exfoliator?

I tried this facial exfoliator and it is a PHA exfoliator, which may mean it doesn't have any normal scrubbing properties. The texture is so smooth that it is hard to know if it is really exfoliating the skin. It feels nice though. I didn't notice any differences, so it is not a product that I would buy myself.

Maybe not for my skin type

I'm an unusual case because while I have dry flaky itchy eczema patches at times, the rest of my skin is quite oily. This exfoliator has an almost greasy texture and feel it leaves behind which bothers me because any residue on oily skin can lead to breakouts - meaning I felt I had to wash it off after using. I don't doubt the ingredients and always have liked Aveeno for eczema but I probably wouldn't buy again if it makes me feel like I need to rewash after using.

Aveeno calm + restore nourishing pha exfoliator

The product is very gentle and light on the skin with no scent. In my opinion it didn't do much to my skin and it felt like I was applying lotion to my skin.

To gentle and no exfoliation

I got to try this product in exchange for my honest review. Right off the bat, I noticed this exfoliator is a cream constancy with no suds or fragrance. The product did clean the oil and dirt off my face however, I didn't feel like it exfoliated very well. After use, my skin still felt a little textured in need of a product that can lift dead skin and really clean out the deeps pores on my face. I must say that it is gentle on my psoriasis patches and didn't cause any irritation or sensitivities. Overall, I did not notice much of a difference using this product.

It makes my face feel clean

I do like this products ability to make my face feel clean but I don't feel it exfoliates my skin enough. I have PCOS which causes hirsutism so I need an exfoliator that can really exfoliate well. Unfortunately this product doesn't do that for me.
