PHA exfoliator safe for breastfeeding moms!

The Aveeno Calm + Restore PHA exfoliator is exactly what I've been looking for as it uses PHA, which is perfect for breastfeeding moms as it doesn't get absorbed into the skin like AHAs and BHAs do. It has a slightly runny milky consistency, non-forming, and scentfree, which I love. It leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated without the irritated, overdrying, tight feeling. It doesn't sting like traditional chemical exfoliators do and doesn't leave my skin flaky. If you want to feel extra clean, I would recommend using a face wash to remove excess oils prior to using the exfoliator.

Unscented and silky smooth

Made with 40% post-consumer recycled plastic, this exfoliator arrives in a 118ml tube. Silky smooth and thin, this sensitive skin exfoliator removes dead skin cells from the surface and leaves a smoother and healthier-looking skin without the gritty bits from a regular exfoliator. Along with oat oil and PHA, your skin will feel hydrated and soft while fragrant-free. This oil is an acting and protective barrier for the skin in harsh outside environments especially in colder and drier weather. It is super easy to apply and massage onto my face. I mainly use it morning and night (twice daily). As a whole, it cleanses the surface fairly well without being ultra harsh on the skin. Aveeno does it again with a respective exfoliator that works for my sensitive skin.

It exceeded my expectations!

Perfect for sensitive skin

This is a great exfoliator for my sensitive skin. It is gentle, soft and does not irritate skin, and most important do not make it dry. I like that I can use it every day. My skin has become much softer and smoother than before. Redness started to reduce and at some spots disappeared completely. After every use my skin feels refreshed and nourished. Plus, this exfoliator is dye-free and paraben-free.

Delicate Exfoliation

I was expecting this to feel gritty like a regular exfoliating product but it was soft and silky on my skin. I’ve noticed my skin is less red and blotchy after two uses.

Sensitive skin deserves this

I was gifted the AVEENO® Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator in exchange for my honest opinion. As someone woth sensitive skin I know how hard it is to exfoliate and not damage you sckin or risk an eruption, so I got super excited to try this out. I tried it for a week for my night routine before writing this review. I alsolutly love it. As with all Aveeno product my skin was left hydrated and smooth and well nourished.
Love that it is non-abrasive, and the oat oil formula respected my skin’s natural moisture barrier and left it feeling smooth and hydrated each time.
Definitely recommend, will buy again, I absolutely love it.

Gentle and effective

I trust the Aveeno brand and thus had high hopes with this product too. It surely met my expectations. The exfoliator feels while gentle on the skin on application. After washing off, skin felt very clean, soft and supple. Skin did not feel dry at all, stayed hydrated for hours.

Great hydrating & gentle exfoliating face scrub

I have been looking for a gentle, nourishing exfoliating face scrub - and this is it! Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator left my skin feeling smooth, hydrated and nourished.  It is fragrance-free and contains no parabens, sulfates, alcohol or phthalates. I love that it is non-abrasive and gently deep cleans. It left my face feeling very refreshed. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a gentle exfoliating cleanser.

Great for sensitive skin

I loved using this exfoliater as apart of my night-time routine. It did an amazing job at getting rid of the dead skin and leaving my skin feeling soft and smooth. I also liked that it didn't leave my skin feeling dry, there was still some hydration to it. Another bonus of this product is that it is fragrance free and good for sensitive skin. Which helped not irritate my skin, overall I would recommend.

Amazing!!!

I absolutely love this face wash, I have always had sensitive skin and finishing a face wash that doesn't leave my skin dry and uncomfortable without using harsh chemicals was really hard but this is awesome will definitely be buying it once this one is done :)
