Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator

I'm of the generation that had to scrub with a washcloth to get rid of dead skin, which doesn't feel good on the sensitive skin on my face. Thankfully, products have improved over the years and I was able to try the Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator. This product is amazing for sensitive skin with zero fragrance and gentle enough to be used every day. After the first use, my face was soft and glowy, but maybe that was because it was the first time using it. I'm a skeptic at heart! Not so, as the next day when I cleansed with this product again, I was pleased to see the same glow! I have no irritation and my skin feels so lovely. My makeup applies so smoothly and I don't look as tired as I usually do at the beginning of the work week. Overall, this exfoliator is gentle and effective.

Rejuvenated!

The consistency of this exfoliator is amazing. Smooth, gentle and dries like silk! Doesn’t leave dry or sticky patches, no grainy bits scraping your sensitive skin and noticeable difference after the first use. This is 100% a new staple in my routine 🙌.

Great Exfoliator!

Firstly, I love that this product is sulphate and fragrance free and uses a non-abrasive formula, that is great for my sensitive skin. This calm and restore exfoliator uses Oat Oil, which left my skin feeling hydrated, but not greasy. I will definitely be re-purchasing this product in the future as I really noticed a difference when using this product.

Works ok but smells awful

This works ok and makes my skin feel very smooth. It’s easy to use and washes off well. My main issue is that it smells awful. Like rotten soy milk. I wouldn’t buy it because of that.

Not for me, but could be right for you

This exfoliating cream doesn’t feel like it exfoliates as much as I would have hoped. It is milky and no foam, so that could be just right for you. I love that it’s not scented but I didn’t feel like it really had a positive impact on my skin - although it felt nice to use.

Nonabrasive

This was awesome, I used to use a cleanser with a abrasive exfoliant just to make my face feel really clean, with this product I got a great clean feeling and my skin was super smooth and soft.

Scent free and not harsh on skin

The product is scent free which is great but I felt like it was a little too thin for a facial cleanser and it came out of the container way too fast because of this, so you use more than you actually need. Not sure if it does what is expected but it didn’t make my face feel raw and red like some exfoliating cleaners. My face felt clean after using.

I like it

I like this product but it’s not my favourite. It didn’t feel like what I expected it felt more like a lotion then an exfoliating wash. I’m not sure if I’d buy it again.

Feels nice

The exfoliating is gentle on the skin and moisturizing. It’s different using an exfoliate that doesn’t feel hash on the skin. This one is so light and creamy and feels great after you wash it off.
