Aveeno Exfoliating Cleanser Review

This product is specifically formulated for Sensitive Skin. Its a gentle exfoliator that cleanses skin. It's sulfate free and frangrance free. Its also hypoallergenic. I used it to wash my face. It doesn't have a scent as advertised. It doesn't lather up like a regular cleanser. It goes on smooth. A little goes a long way. It cleansed my skin really well. I'd recommend this cleanser for anyone with sensitive skin concerns.

Perfect moisturizer for sensitive skin

I was very happy with the Aveeno calm and restore exfoliator and I will definitely be buying extra Aveeno products on top of the ones I'm already buying for my 2 and 5 years old little girls.

This exfoliator is fragrance free and sulfate free. It's extremely easy to apply. Even though the cream is thick , you can easily apply it by massaging it into your skin and it's worth mentionning that you do not need to use a lot at a time, just a small amount is enough. I personally prefer to apply it while my skin is damp. I just let it sit for a minute or two and rinse it off. My skin immediately felt smooth, fresh and soft and combining it later with the previous product worked perfectly for me. I love that both are light and not greasy or heavy as some other creams are. I believe thid product works very well with the calm and restore skin therapy balm that I also reviewed. I would love to see a scented version but that's simply a personal preference.

Last but not least, I think it's important to note that on top of working very well, this is a very affordable product. Times are tough and it's nice to see a great product for an affordable price.

Gentle and smooth

The AVEENO® Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator has been really lovely on my sensitive skin and leaves it silky smooth. The exfoliator is gentle and it doesn’t leave any harsh effects. It is also scent free. I thought it might have a bit of an oat smell but it surprisingly didn’t which was a bonus! The only thing that I would maybe prefer is if the bottle was a pump instead of a squeeze

Effective product

I absolutely would recommend this product to anyone with sensitive skin. It is not as abrasive and harsh as other exfoliators I've tried in the past. I especially like how it leaves my skin feeling smooth and hydrated. Especially love how it's paraben free. Would buy again!

Clean, radiant skin

After removing my makeup and cleansing my skin, I prepared myself to exfoliate with Aveeno Calm & Restore, nourishing PHA exfoliator. I was anticipating a gritty texture, but to my surprise, it is a thin serum-like texture that is fragrance free. I applied it all over my clean, damp skin, massaging gently for about one minute, then rinced it off with warm water. My skin feels soft and clean with a much smoother texture. My skin was not irritated at all, and I had zero redness afterward. Having sensitive skin, I have to be careful what products I use so I don't wreck havoc on my face. Gentle enough for everyday use helping to remove dead skin cells for a healthier turnover and less breakouts.i feel more confident in my skin when it is clear and radiant. Aveeno calm and Restore, nourishing PHA exfoliator makes my skin look so much healthier with a youthful glow that keeps my skin happy.

Je suis très impressionnée de la qualité du produit! Il est super doux pour la peau, s’applique bien et on peut l’utiliser quotidiennement. Ma peau devient super douce après usage et je remarque déjà moins d’acnée sur ma peau. Je recommande grandement! Il dégage une faible odeur d’avoine et est parfait pour ma peau sensible.

Gentle daily wash

I was grateful to try out this gentle daily exfoliator wash. I found that it felt like an ordinary non-foaming face wash but had a deeper clean without leaving the skin feeling dry or tight. I can use it twice a day and it has not irritated my sensitive skin.

Great for sensitive skin

My skin is extremely sensitive so I'm very thankful this product does not contain any fragrance. The oatmeal is soothing and the formula is non-drying. I'll buy this again.

I have a couple Aveeno products I enjoy but as I get older I find I’m more sensitive to products and scents.

The Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA exfoliator was as described - non abrasive, which was a lovely change from the typical exfoliators. There was no scent/fragrance and it left my skin feeling smooth and soft.

I followed it up with the Calm + Restore Skin Therapy Balm, it takes very little product to cover a reasonable amount of skin. For the trial of the products I used them on my hands to see the reaction/results prior to using elsewhere.
I would definitely recommend the balm for any dry or irritated skin, it seems to add incredible hydration to the skin without feeling greasy or as if the product is sitting on top of the skin but not being absorbed.

The balm is gentle enough to be used on babies 6 months and up! 👶🏼

Perfect exfoliator for sensitive skin

I had doubts about an exfoliator with no abrasion, but I LOVE this product. My skin feels clean and absolutely glows after using it. I have no irritation, redness, or dryness even with daily use. I cannot recommend this product for people with sensitive skin highly enough!
