Gentle exfoliating

Gentle but effective!

Used this on skin that needed a bit of a pick me up as it’s been about 2 weeks since my last exfoliation and with the weather/extra sunscreen it absolutely needed it! Put it on dry skin and let it sit for 1-2 mins, not expecting much. Washing it off with a warm cloth and my skin was visibly glowing. Definitely impressed!

Calm and mild exfoliator

This time, I was very lucky to receive two new products from Aveeno , one of which is this exfoliator . It is a pha exfoliator, and it is especially for sensitive skin, so it’s very gentle, I’m combination and oily skin, I can use every day, it makes my skin smooth and fresh.

Soothing without stripping!

I loved that this Aveeno Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA Exfoliator is gentle enough to be used daily. Unlike other exfoliants, this one does not strip your skin and leaves it feeling soothed and soft. Light and non-greasy

I always have problems with soaps and body washes but this one surprisingly is really decent so far. I find a lot of soaps leave my skin feeling greasy and filmy the next morning and I will normally be broken out. Aveeno was actually light and I can say my skin feels great the next day. No additional breakouts either. My one and only complaint was how liquid it was. I feel as though it would make a better soap bar than having it in liquid form. I was worried i would accidently over squeeze the bottle and lose half the soap down the drain

Gentle cleanser

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I was excited about the ingredients being pretty clean, and fragrance free. There’s nothing too crazy in there so I felt good using it, I try to avoid certain ingredients as my skin is super sensitive, while also acne prone, and this was safe for me to use. I can’t speak for how well it exfoliates as there wasn’t enough time to use more than a couple times. However, it was very gentle on the skin and felt like it rinsed pretty clean. It did not leave my skin dry after using which was nice. The texture was creamy but not greasy. I will continue to use this and see how well the exfoliation promises live up!

I have pretty dry skin on my body to the point that I get eczema in the winter. Note that this exfoliator is actually made for the face but I tested it out on my body as the skin on my face only gets dry during the winter. First of all I love that this exfoliator is hypoallergenic, non-comedogenic and free from fragrance, paraben, phthalates, sulfate, alcohol and dye! It was really gentle on the skin as it uses polyhydroxy-acid, a non-abrasive liquid exfoliator. Also great for my bathtub and sink❤, no left over grits and bits to clean. My skin felt clean ,fresh, smooth and well hydrated. Revealing a fresher complexion.

PHA exfoliator safe for breastfeeding moms!

The Aveeno Calm + Restore PHA exfoliator is exactly what I've been looking for as it uses PHA, which is perfect for breastfeeding moms as it doesn't get absorbed into the skin like AHAs and BHAs do. It has a slightly runny milky consistency, non-forming, and scentfree, which I love. It leaves my skin feeling clean and hydrated without the irritated, overdrying, tight feeling. It doesn't sting like traditional chemical exfoliators do and doesn't leave my skin flaky. If you want to feel extra clean, I would recommend using a face wash to remove excess oils prior to using the exfoliator.
