As someone who has eczema and sensitive skin, I like to stick to my regular products. However, this item has proven to be a great addition to the rotation. The consistency is a mix between a lotion and a gel. It is very lightweight and cooling, and absorbs quickly leaving the skin silky smooth. It is unscented which I love because I can mix it in with other moisturizers that do have a scent that I like to make that product last longer. Great skin care staple, highly recommend.

The Aveeno Calm+Restore lotion is dense in consistency and provides a thick barrier to lock in the moisture. It depends on your preference, but this one might feel extra heavy. I find it really helps keep my skin moisturized, it is a trade off for the dense heavy feeling to have extra moisture.

The Aveeno Calm and Restore Oat Repairing Lotion is made for sensitive and dry skin and is dermatologist recommended. It is fragrance free, paraben free, dye free, non greasy and allergy tested.

At first I had trouble with the twist lid and the product wasn't coming out. Then I found out that there was a lot of dried up product that was stuck in the tube area and I needed to get rid of a lot of the product before the pump started working. The lotion gets absorbed really well but it leaves a slight sticky feeling. You have to wait for a while before that sticky feeling on the skin goes away. The lotion kept my skin moisturized and feeling smooth I would probably purchase this again and recommend it.
