A little sticky to my liking

After you applied it, it is a bit sticky for my liking. It doesn't absorb as fast as I would want it to. Personally, I have sensitive skin and it hydrates my skin after a longer period of absorption. If you don't mind the stickiness, then it is a product for you.

Just okay!

At first trying this product, it applies on the skin very nicely. It does have no scent, and perfect for people with sensitive skin/ skin issues like eczema/psoriasis. It is also good for moisturizing tattoos as it has no scent.

Great but was a little sticky!

The body lotion was great; it moisturised my skin and was soothing and gentle. However, I noticed that it left a sticky residue after I used it and it also pilled on my skin - I could rub my arm and the lotion created balls on my skin. For that, I wouldn’t buy again.

The Aveeno Calm and Restore Oat Repairing Lotion is made for sensitive and dry skin and is dermatologist recommended. It is fragrance free, paraben free, dye free, non greasy and allergy tested.

At first I had trouble with the twist lid and the product wasn't coming out. Then I found out that there was a lot of dried up product that was stuck in the tube area and I needed to get rid of a lot of the product before the pump started working. The lotion gets absorbed really well but it leaves a slight sticky feeling. You have to wait for a while before that sticky feeling on the skin goes away. The lotion kept my skin moisturized and feeling smooth I would probably purchase this again and recommend it.

Great hydration but don’t love the scent

The lotion itself is rich and moisturizing, and my skin felt soft and hydrated after using it but I don’t really like the scent of this product. Other than that, it really made difference in my dry skin and left it hydrate for the whole day after my shower.

Prefect for people who do not like scent.

This product is nice. Goes on smooth and is very light weight.
However I like products that have a scent and did not enjoy that it literally has zero smell.

For anyone who is sensitive to scents this would be the perfect product for you.

Similar to a barrier cream

I was thrilled to receive the Aveeno Calm + Restore Oat Repairing Lotion free from Butterly and Aveeno to try as I have been an Aveeno customer for as long as I can remember.

This lotion uses Aveeno’s signature colloidal oatmeal formula to help restore moisture, as well as prevent dry skin. It also contains aloe, pro-vitamin B5, and Aveeno states that the Calm + Restore lotion contains the highest concentration of prebiotic oat to soothe sensitive and dry skin.

As typically found with Aveeno products the lotion is fragrance, paraben, and dye free, as well as non-comedogenic and allergy tested. Another great bonus is that the bottle is made from 30% post-consumer recycled plastic. Although thinking about it, I would love to see Aveeno do something similar to the Calm + Restore face wash and create a great bottle and then have a refill pouch. I mean I typically use quite a bit of lotion and I would love a great bottle (glass, ceramic, etc.) to display and just refill it. It would save quite a few bottles hitting my recycle bin.

This is really a hybrid between a regular lotion and a barrier cream. I find the texture quite nice, you can feel that barrier cream feeling to it, it distributes and spreads nicely across the skin and absorbs well. It does leave skin moisturized and prevents irritation, right now as the season still changes I have more irritation so I have found this has helped keep that at bay.

Now I enjoy this lotion for my hands primarily, not as big of a fan as a body lotion. It’s not that it doesn’t do a great job, I just found that as a result of the barrier cream aspect it doesn’t feel as silky smooth on my skin as lets say their Creamy Oil lotion does. I like that silky smooth feeling in my body creams so this one falls a touch short on that, however in the middle of winter when my skin is so dry and needs a little more protection I would definitely grab this lotion to calm things down and get my skin back into a happy place.

This will be a go to for days with plenty of hand washing, seasonal changes that put more pressure on the skin, and the end of the day before bed hand lotion because it will come through in every way needed.

For day to day, this lotion will be the super star as my bed time hand lotion, to clam and restore from the days abuse and reset for the next day.

I do recommend this cream, especially if you like a barrier type cream.

Creamy like sunscreen

I did enjoy how this lotion made my skin feel once it sunk in. The oat was nice and effective. However, the lotion is thick and creamy like sunscreen, making it almost a chore to rub in. It's a hit for the sensitive properties and smooth feel, but an overall miss for how long it takes to rub the thick cream in.

This lotion is light and simple

This lotion is very light, so it’s perfect if you have sensitive skin or pores that easily clog. It goes on smoothly and absorbed into the skin quickly. You’re not left with a greasy residue.
