Works on some irritations

The texture of this balm was light and cooling, which is already wonderful when it comes to calming an irritation. There is no smell to this balm, which is great when it's being used outside in the park (don't want to attract anything else that might bite, after all...). It worked for some irritations but not others. It calmed a contact rash and some mosquito bites, but not a spider bite and not a reaction to a plant (we couldn't figure out what kind). A little on the expensive side for something that didn't work consistently well and disappointed to note that the packaging isn't recyclable.

Great for Hand Eczema

Good for sensitive and dry skin. I have eczema. My hands are dry, itchy, cracking, and bleeding. Sometimes blisters are developed and fingers become swollen. I used this product, and it works well. It’s very soothing, it doesn’t irritate my skin. I definitely get more! I love that it’s fragrance free. It doesn’t leave sticky residue. Skin is smoothed and moisturized after I use. This cream is light texture.

Hydrates skin

We are Aveeno user for a long time and this Aveeno Calm + Restore Skin Therapy Balm will be a great addition to our skincare. My husband has roughness in his skin and with almost a week of use of this product I’ve seen improvement son his skin. It leaves skin hydrated, however I think it needs consecutive days of use to really see the effect and only a temporary relief. The product has oatmeal ceramides that helps retain moisture but I find the product a little bit sticky on the skin.

Awesome intense moisturizer, great for mild eczema

I have mild eczema that flares up on my elbows and other dry patches, especially as the weather gets colder... This moisturizer has been great at keeping flaking to a minimum and has prevented my dry skin from cracking like usual! Awesome product, definitely recommend!

Deeply Moisturizing Cream for Dry skin

As Aveeno is known for their really nice soothing, calming and nourishing ingredients that Calm & Restore Therapy Balm is no exception. This balm as the name suggests is a thicker consistency cream that is for deeply moisturizing all of you're dry sensitive areas - I've personally been using this on my hands as I get very dry hands and need to use hand cream all the time, this will be perfect for the winter months especially at night to allow you're hands to heal overnight and get them really moisturized. Since this is a balm it is a greasier than I generally like for hand cream however that's ok - I just rub it off my palms but it does make my hands super soft once applied and it does absorb very nicely.

I definitely would recommend this to anyone that has very sensitive skin that needs a little extra help especially during winter months however for me I probably wouldn't re-purchase just because I have other products that are just as good however this is a very good product.

Helpful for Dry Skin but Not Eczema

I was excited to try this product as I do experience eczema so I have tried a number of different products on the market. I loved that the lotion went on smooth and did not feel too heavy or thick on my skin. I hate feeling like I need to watch my hands after applying lotion and I definitely did not feel that when I used this product. While this lotion might help with dry skin, I do not feel that it effectively helped to soothe my eczema. I found the need to apply it often and still did not feel relief from the itchiness or redness where I experience eczema on my elbows or behind my knees.

Very hydrating

I love how Aveeno products are gentle and soft of my skin. Non scented and hydrating for my sensitive skin, I couldn’t ask for more ! Plus, a little product goes a long way and I like it.

Sadly not for me

I was excited to try this product since it is dermatologist recommended and contains medicinal ingredients to help relieve rashes. I have eczema on my arms and hands and pretty sensitive skin. This balm is thick and moisturizing, and it does feel good on my itching and irritated skin. Sadly, although the ingredients list looked fine to me and it contains no fragrance, it gave me an allergic reaction so I will not continue using it.

Baume

Produit très hydratant, mais ue n'aime pas particulièrement la texture. Je trouve le produit difficile à appliquer, je préfère les crèmes qui glissent mieux
