I have a couple Aveeno products I enjoy but as I get older I find I’m more sensitive to products and scents.

The Calm + Restore Nourishing PHA exfoliator was as described - non abrasive, which was a lovely change from the typical exfoliators. There was no scent/fragrance and it left my skin feeling smooth and soft.

I followed it up with the Calm + Restore Skin Therapy Balm, it takes very little product to cover a reasonable amount of skin. For the trial of the products I used them on my hands to see the reaction/results prior to using elsewhere.
I would definitely recommend the balm for any dry or irritated skin, it seems to add incredible hydration to the skin without feeling greasy or as if the product is sitting on top of the skin but not being absorbed.

The balm is gentle enough to be used on babies 6 months and up! 👶🏼

Excellent moisturizer for breakout prone skin

This product is so nourishing without being heavy. It will be perfect for daily use as we move into the colder winter months. In the current autumn season I've been alternating it with my usual daily moisturizer and it's perfect! I love the texture and lack of fragrance.

Great stuff

I recently had the chance to try out these Aveeno Calm + Restore products, courtesy of @thisisbutterly and @aveenoca, and here's what I think:

Nourishing PHA Facial Exfoliator: As someone with sensitive skin, I appreciated how gentle this exfoliator was. It left my skin feeling clean but not oily, and I liked that it's fragrance-free. If you wear makeup, make sure to remove it with micellar water before using this.

Skin Therapy Balm for Sensitive Skin: This product was a pleasant surprise for my sensitive, oily skin. It's hydrating but lightweight, which can be hard to find in products for sensitive skin. It helped calm my redness and left my skin feeling soothed and hydrated.

Love it!

Just got it and tried it and my skin had 0 reaction, normally I hive. Feels and smells great, can wait to use again in a few days. Nice to able to actually have a skin care routine.

Excellent product!

Love the smell, how easy it comes out. I used it on my face a few times, it felt nice & light. Absorbs fast, not greasy. I used it on a recent tattoo for healing & when it gets to that itchy phase...and it worked wonderfully! Definitely will get again.

I would love if it came out with a bit of a sent but not overly powerful sent but overall I did enjoy this product and how easily it went on and it didn’t irritate my skin

Effective moisturizer that calms skin!

I recently finished a backpacking trip in South America and returned with all these mosquito bites that made my skin itchy and dry. After applying the balm over the insect bites, my skin already feels less irritated, appears more moisturized, and looks healthier. When I use skincare products, my philosophy is: less is more, and Aveeno perfectly encapsulates this. I appreciate how the Skin Therapy Balm is fragrance-free, alcohol-free, works well on sensitive skin, and uses natural ingredients along with a triple oat formula. I will continue to use this balm as a moisturizer and to relieve any minor skin irritations.

Amazing for eczema

Amazing for sensitive skin. Very gentle to skin. Size of bottle can last for long use time, ingredients are of good quality. Does not leave a sticky residue, skin is moisturized after usage. Size of the product is just nice and love the packaging. Would recommend it for all skin types because it gets absorbed very quickly. My skin is combined to oily & it didn’t clog my pores. I also have eczema around my eyes & my lips this was perfect for me I loved it.

I liked this product. It felt very lightweight and was easy to apply. It did not irritate my skin. There was no major smell. Might purchase product again

Worked well for my psoriasis

I received the Aveeno Calm + Restore skin therapy balm for free from butterly and aveeno Canada in exchange for my honest review. The packaging resemble the rest of the aveeno line which I like - its always easy to spot the aveeno on the shelving in store. The balm is thicker than other balms I have used in the past however it melts like butter into the skin and leaves it soft, along with giving instant relief to itching. I have psoriasis, so keeping my skin soft and itch free can sometimes be difficult. Im looking forward to seeing the long term results of this balm. I absolutely will be buying the calm + restore skin therapy balm in store when this tube runs out.
