It’s the balm👌

I received this Aveeno CICA balm free to try, and personally I’ve been loving it.
I’ve been using it nightly on my feet, legs and arms and my skin has been so smooth.
It is a bit greasy feeling but that isn’t a game changer for me and It is scent free which I like. But the main thing that makes this a winner, is how quickly it helped my cracked heels, within the first night of applying this balm, I could already notice a huge difference and within a few nights my heels were completely smooth and crack free.

my hands get super dry , itchy, flaky during winters and nothing can heal them .my hands get so cracked and dry that it hurts a lot . i have used castor oil and many hand creams but it was all in vain i applied this a couple of times for few days and omg this ha snow become my holy grail. it is heavy textured and thick which makes it perfect for dry cracked skin . i highly recommend this to anyone who has dry cracked skin . trust me this works...and i have already recommended this to a lady at my nearest store . the best part its fragrance free.... hurray

Too heavy and greasy

I adore Aveeno and have been a loyal fan for many years now but this was a complete fail for me. I appreciate the fact that it's very hydrating and unscented but the texture was way too heavy and greasy. The product seems to sit on top of the skin and never absorbs so my skin feels sticky for hours.

Sorry Aveeno, I usually love you but this was a major flop for me.

Soothed my itchy, dry and cracked fingers

My hands have been taking a beating lately. They have been so dry and cracking all along my fingers. They have also been so itchy, especially at night. This balm has saved my skin. My skin feels less scaly, dry and cracked. It has helped smooth out some of the bumps and dry patches. I love how this balm is scent-free, so it does not irritated my cracks. It is both gentle and safe for sensitive skin. I do not find this greasy or too heavy. There is great value in this as I believe the tub will last a long long time. In addition to using this balm on my hands, I have also used it on m feet and other dry areas such as my knees and elbows. Occasionally, when my skin feels dry and itchy, I will also use this as an all-over body lotion after I get out of the shower. This balm is great, multi-purpose and effective. If you find that the tub is too bulky, I suggest getting some traveling jars/smaller tubs to decant into. I keep the large tub at home and smaller jars in my purse and at my work desk so that I am always with some of this great balm. I was graciously given this product to try for free as part of the Product Review Club.

Amazing for what it does

As someone whose skin has just gone through a long, dry, winter I was so glad to be sent this product. I have some severely dry skin and that’s what this product is suitable for.

The product is very moisturizing but the expense of that is that it applies greasy and will stay that way for hours. I applied it at night and my skin was moisturized but still a little tacky/greasy the next morning.

Would recommend for the severely dry skin crowd.

This amazing product helps you fight dry winter skin

I received Aveeno Cracked Skin Relief Cica Balm from Chickadvisor to write my honest opinion. Aveeno Cica balm contains glycerin, the ingredient famous for its moisturizing properties, and the balm does an amazing job! I apply it on my feet every night before going to bed, put a pair of cotton socks, and when I wake up my feet are really soft. It is also good to apply it on hands before going out during the winter time, or if the air is as dry as it is in Canada. I also use it for my dry elbows, and the results are astonishing!
I have to say that Aveeno balm is the savior of my skin! I have had a problem with cracked feet for many years, and this balm reminds me of the glycerin cream I used to apply on my hands, heels and cracked elbows when I lived in Europe, and I am happy that I discovered Aveeno Cica balm here! I would recommend it to all people who want to find a suitable product for soothing dry skin.

The Perfect Cream for Harsh Winter Weather

I received this product from Chickadvisor for free for test and review. Over the past couple of years I have noticed that my skin has become progressively drier especially during in the winter months. As we age, our skin doesn’t produce as much moisturizing agents as it used to so this is usually why the top layers of our skin are significantly drier. This unscented balm has been so helpful at locking in that moisture in my skin. It has this thick, nourishing consistency that feels like it’s forming some sort of barrier onto your skin. As you rub it in, this slippery texture, like silicone, absorbs quite nicely into the skin. It never feels too heavy or greasy. I like to use this cream right after a bath or shower when your pores are already open and easier to absorb products better. My husband and 8 year old daughter absolutely loved the nourishment that was provided by this cream.

When you look at the ingredient list, the first ingredient is glycerin. It explains why this cream is so effective at hydrating my skin. Glycerin is a very effective moisturizer for the skin. It is a humectant that attracts water from the air and helps locks in that moisture into your skin. It also helps our skin stay smooth and supple. I know my skin feels incredibly soft afterwards. As a child I grew up with Aveeno products, and over the years I experimented with new products from other companies but I often find myself going back to Aveeno.

Thanks for taking care of our skin all these years. Thank you Chickadvisor and Aveeno for giving me the opportunity to try such an amazing product! Absolutely love it!

Super Effective!!

I'm actually really impressed with this balm!
I never thought it was possible to really get rid of cracked skin until I tried this product!

PROS:
- Super soft balm
- NO smell, which is good because some creams have overwhelming fragrances
- It starts softening the skin almost immediately
- It doesn't take too long to start seeing results
- It really fixed deep cracks on my fingers and hands that I thought would never heal. I actually thought I needed to see a doctor to get some prescription medication for it, but this balm was able to actually close the cracks and heal my hands in only 3 days. I was VERY impressed and grateful. I have tried countless creams and nothing had worked before!

CONS:
- The container is not very practical, so it would be nice if this balm also came in smaller bottles with a pump. However, I found a way to put it in a travel container to bring it everywhere with me.

- In conclusion: I was EXTREMELY impressed with this balm, I consider it a miracle and I can't say enough good things about it. My hands are healing nicely now and the cracks are gone!! I'm really happy with this product and I will recommend it to all my friends and family.

WOW!! AVEENO CRACKED SKIN RELIEF CICA BALM is amazing. From my heels, knees, elbows/arms all benifited from the balm. I was surprised at how light it was.
