Very effective on eczema and severely dry hands

I was very fortunate to have been selected by Chickadvisor to try this balm out for free!

I suffer from eczema, chilblains (in the winter), and very dry hands in the winter. Typically I go through bottles of hand lotion because I need to reapply it often throughout the day. My problem areas are generally my hands and one stubborn eczema patch.

First of all, the tub of this is huge! The product itself is a very thick balm -- almost a cross between vaseline and lotion. A very small amount goes a very long way. Even though this product is pretty pricey, I've barely made a dent and I've been using it multiple times a day after handwashing.

I was very shocked at how well this product worked. I'm used to my hands getting extremely dry every time I wash them, and even need to reapply lotion often throughout the day. The first day I used this product I noticed a very big difference. After washing my hands, they still felt soft and hydrated -- not something I'm used to! And after using this balm consistently my hands are super soft and aren't cracking.

The balm itself is very thick and when applied feels a bit heavy like vaseline, but it does soak in completely and just leaves your hands feeling smooth. I even used this product on a stubborn dry patch that even vaseline couldn't handle. With vaseline I have to reapply about every two hours throughout the day. But with this balm I only apply it in the morning, and at night after showering and it has 100% reduced the eczema itch and flakiness.

Overall, I can't believe how effective this product is. I had zero expectations going into this trial and am so shocked at how this has improved the dryness, irritation, and pain associated with my eczema and chilblains. It is an expensive product, but it is so worth it when considering how little product is needed, and when comparing to how many bottles of lotion and vaseline I go through to tackle my skin issues. My skin issues aren't horrible, but I think if you're dealing with any type of serious eczema or dry hands that this product is absolutely worth the cost and a shot!

Buttery silky soft

This product is scent free and seems like it would work for sensitive skin as it claims. The texture of this product is buttery and silky. It’s thick but very easy to smooth over skin. My feet are extremely dry and cracked especially the toe and heel area. The toe area is more severe and has thicker cracked skin. After applying this balm, my heels feel so smooth and moisturized, with very little white crack lines. My toes area also feel softer though given the severity and dead skin buildup there, they still look bad (but better than before applying the balm). This balm is great because although it’s thick, it feels like it absorbed into the skin unlike other thick creams that feel like they just sit on top of your skin. It’s also unlike the thinner creams that seem to dry out quickly. I definitely would recommend this balm for anyone with dry skin. Even if you don’t have dry skin, I think this product would be great for elbows, knees and feet. I received this product free in exchange for my honest opinion.

This is a other great product from Aveeno for very dry skin. I use this on my legs which have patches of eczema and I at night all over my feet with my cozy socks!! My skin feels baby soft. I definitely recommend! Thanks chickadvisor

I love it so much

This balm has been a lifesaver for my extra dry winter skin, specially my hands and feet... I love how moisturizing It is and last all day... I also use at night on my feet and put socks on to keep the moisture in and the next morning they feel like baby feet 😍#gotitfree

Arrived at the perfect time

I received this free from the Product Review Club.

Like the Aveeno Cracked Skin Cica Ointment, this product could not have arrived at the perfect time. My family and I wash our hands very frequently and because of the time of year, our skin dries out especially quick. My son and I also have eczema on our hands. This cica balm is extremely moisturizing - more so than the other Aveeno moisturizing cream in the red tub. This cica balm has helped my eczema by keeping my hands moisturized. Not a fan of the smell though.

Finally A lotion that works!

After my first use of this balm, I was hooked. As I said in my other review for the ointment, my hands are constantly being washed and in the winter they get so dry to the point of cracking. After a good thick layer and my hands soaked up the lotion and my hands were singing. Thanks Chick Advisor!

Amazing stuff!

I bought this looking for relief for my dry, cracked hands. After one application I could tell this was the best I've ever tried and I've been through many creams and ointments. The smell is light and pleasant and the consistency is not too thick like most. It leaves my hands and feet feeling velvety smooth and all dry areas gone like magic! I can see myself using this balm for many years to come since I feel there is nothing better on the market! On a side note, my husband also enjoys using this for his cracked fingers. Works wonders on everyone!

Game Changer for dry skin

I received this free as a product reviewer. Firstly, I can't believe how much product is in this container! Such a good value. It's thick, creamy, and slightly oily, which is key when treating super dry skin. It really sinks into your skin and makes dry patches feel noticeably smoother after 1 application. I'm really impressed with it thus far. I have one dry patch by my eyes that even benefited from this cream. It made my eyelids a bit heavy, but the dry patch was gone when I woke up. My inner elbows where I suffer from dry, eczema prone skin have also cleared up remarkably. Thank you for this product! I have recommended it to all my friends at work who also suffer from dry skin brought on by harsh hand sanitizers we must use frequently.

Perfect for my dry skin

I love this balm I tried a lot of hand creams for my extremely dry hands I find they sting on my dry patches but aveeno cracked skin relief balm doesn’t cause any sting.it doesn’t feel greasy as well so happy with it’s results on my skin definitely recommend it

Noticeable improvement in less than 24 hours!

After a dry winter and the cold snap I wound up with dry and cracked fingertips, exacerbated by washing more dishes than I can keep track of, with a family in a busy household. ‪

My package arrived from the Product Review Team @ ChickAdvisor yesterday (thank you!!) .. in less than 24 hours I can see and feel a noticeable improvement!

My only recommendation is try applying it at night before bed, as it tends to wash off fairly easily and requires reapplication when you wash your hands frequently. It is very rich, deeply nourishing, and soothing. It makes my hands SO soft!
