Cracked Skin Relief

I received Aveeno Cracked Skin Relief cica balm through the product review club. This was a free item to review. The product claims to intensely moisturize on contact. It’s fragrance free although seems to have a bit of glue stick scent to it. It’s also hypoallergenic, paraben, and steroid free. A little goes a long way with this product. I just didn’t find it to properly absorb in my skin and feel it did have a scent. I’d have to give this a miss in the future.

Doesn't quite live up to claim

I recieved this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

I tried this for several days in a row. Before bedtime and after showers. My feet do feel a big softer, but I really think that's just from applying lotion in general often to those areas. I still have some rough patches.

I like how creamy this is and it really needs to be a before bed kind of cream or wear socks right after. Don't make the mistake I did of walking on bare floor after applying this.

I recommend this for those with rough skin, just know that it's not a miracle worker. And if the price is too much, you're going to get the same results from any other decent everyday lotion.

Too heavy and greasy

I received this product courtesy of ChickAdvisor in exchange for my honest review.

I adore Aveeno and have been a loyal fan for many years now but this was a complete fail for me. I appreciate the fact that it's very hydrating and unscented but the texture was way too heavy and greasy. The product seems to sit on top of the skin and never absorbs so my skin feels sticky for hours.

Sorry Aveeno, I usually love you but this was a major flop for me.

It's thick! Not a morning cream

This cream definitely helped with the dry skin around my ankles and elbows but beware, it is THICK. This is definitely not a cream you can put on before running out the door, it is more of a cream to put on your feet and then cover with socks overnight. It does work but the fact that it is SO thick and doesn't really absorb really limited the amount of times that I could use it.

All about the texture.

I am being 100% honest, I used this product all of one time. The smell wasn't bad, but the texture was. I can't comment on effectiveness because I only used the product one time. The value is decent size tub with a fair amount of product.
I personally wouldn't recommend this product to a friend or family member. :(

Vraiment trop grasse

L'hydratation doit être super bonne, mais la texture grasse à fait que j'avais juste envie d'allé me laver. Grasse et collante. Je n'ai vraiment pas aimer, je ne pourrait l'utiliser parce que je ne me sent pas bien avec ca sur la peau

Did not like the greasy artificial feeling after applying

The product does moisturize as expected but lacks anything memorable / the “wow factor”
Left hands very greasy which was disappointing leaving an artificial residue that was making me want to wash it off

would not buy

I found the hand cream to very greasy and left a weird feeling on my hands. I also did not really like the smell of the cream. Effectiveness was ok I have used other Aveeno products that worked better.

Not the best

I did not enjoy this product....it doesn't work...it's very greasy...my dry skin is still very dry and cracked....will not be my go to hand cream..will only use it as a last resource

Surprisingly disappointing product

I normally love Aveeno products, and I was excited to receive this for free from ChickAdvisor, but after using this I must say I'm disappointed.
I have dry, cracked hands, and I have sensitive skin. This product has my name written all over it - or so I thought. After applying this to my skin, I was shocked at how oily my hands were, and for how long they stayed that way. The worst part is it didn't even help my dry skin; it stung really bad for about 15 minutes (during which time I suppose it was trying to work), then I just went back to having dry, cracked skin - only now it had an oily residue!
I will say that, for anyone who is allergic to scents, this *might* be a good product for you as it is scent-free - but I will not be buying this product in the future.
