Aveeno Yogurt Body Care - Honey Apricot Lotion

I was given this product for free to try. I am in constant search of a good body lotion because I can't do without moisturzing after bathing! I love the scent of this product and its initial texture however I was a little disappointed that it has an almost dry quality to it when spreading it over the skin, like all Aveeno Lotions. Luckily though, I did find it be moisturizing enough, making my skin feel soft and suple.

This lotion smells awesome! It applies nice and smooth and dries quickly. It leaves the skin feeling super soft. The only drawback I found was on the hands it is a little bit sticky when it dries.

Feels fantastic on your skin!

Well first things first...
I couldn't get the safety seal off this jar. I had to get my husband to open it and that a major negative aspect for me. I need to be able to open products on my own.
The feel of the cream is truly lovely on your body. It feels fantastic. Made my skin feel so silky and smooth and it absorbed nicely. However, the smell is very strong. I wish the scent was not so intense. For that reason alone I wouldn't buy this for myself, but if you like a vibrant scent this would be perfect.

Great Moisturizer from Aveeno

This moisturizer has a great smell and is long lasting. I did find it hard to fully rub in so you have to take some extra time for it to absorb. Very nice light fresh scent.

Great summer moisturizer for dry skin BUT...

I received this product through the Product Review Club.

I liked this lotion. I find the consistency is similar to regular yogurt (not the Greek). It goes on smoothly, leaving my skin feeling soft and moisturized. It is not thick like The Body Shop body butter so it is nice for hotter weather. However, I do find it is not as moisturizing as the TBS body butter. I usually use the body butter on my heels, put on socks and shoes and my heels are in great shape at the end of the day. This body yogurt feels great when first applied but my heels are dry by the end of the day (equivalent amount of time lapsed as the body butter). So I will not be using this lotion in the winter.

One thing I don't like about this lotion is that I found the scent too strong. I can't use it on my hands at all because it is a bit revolting. I don't mind it on my legs and feet since they are far enough away from my nose that I find the scent more acceptable. While I wouldn't personally buy this product again (because of the scent), I would recommend it to other as a light summer lotion as long as the person doesn't mind a strong smelling cream.

This body yogurt keeps my skin feeling and smelling so lush.

A delicate and pretty apricot scent. I was expecting a thicker product, but I am happy with the consistency (very, yogurt-like), and not too runny or thick. Easy to use container, which makes application simple. I find a little goes a long way, so my skin feels best when I use a minimal amount, otherwise it can feel a bit heavy and sticky. I apply after showering with the Aveeno Yogurt Body Wash, and together my skin is left feeling amazingly soft, and smells so gorgeous. My husband complimented me on the scent. Would highly recommend both products in this line.

Yummy scent, lighweight texture, moisturizing lotion

I received this product free from the Chick Advisor product review club. My favourite thing is the scent which is so delicious, it does smell like a sweet creamy yogurt. The texture also reminds me of yogurt - it feels lightweight and not sticky. It did a great job moisturizing my legs which were very dry and scaly. I like that it felt lightweight on application but was still an effective moisturizing lotion.

I got to try this for free through ChickAdvisor! This is a very rich and luxurious cream. A little goes a long way. Makes your skin very soft and moisturized. Great for hands and feet at night. But, too heavy of a cream to wear during the day in the late spring and summer. Could be great in the winter. I don't like the scent.

i love the smell of this body lotion. i am very picky on my body lotion. I have sensitive skin but this lotion is excellent. I usually use Cereve but this lotion is just as good. I recommend to anyone who has skin issues to try this product. It is excellent

I was lucky enough to get this product from ChickAdvisor to try (full size, yay!) #gotitfree. Here's my review :

The night I got the product I was so excited I wanted to try it immediately, so I put some lotion on my knees and calves, on my elbows and down to my hands.
The next evening, these area were still moisturized and still felt softer than the rest of my skin!

I liked the feel of the product while I applied it. I was not a fan of the abricot smell, though. I've smelled much worse, but I would've preferred another combo with the honey.
I like the presentation, in the little pot (...not that little).
When applying the lotion, it felt refreshing, not icky, as some lotions do. And it penetrated the skin almost immediately, I didn't feel like I couldn't go near anything by fear of leaving marks or something.
And yet... the hydration stayed a long time!

I'm really impressed with this product. It claims it will work for 48 hours, and now I believe it!
