Soothing Relief Hindered by Packaging Flaws

As someone who battles with eczema, finding the right product for relief is essential. My experience with Aveeno Eczema Therapy Cream has been a mixed bag, to say the least.

Let's start with the positives: the cream itself works wonders. It effectively soothes the skin, reducing redness and itchiness, providing much-needed relief. However, accessing this relief is marred by packaging issues.

Firstly, the label is misprinted, noticeably far off-center, which detracts from the product's visual appeal. But aesthetics aside, the real frustration begins when attempting to dispense the cream. Upon my initial squeeze, instead of the desired outcome, the opposite end of the tube started spewing product, rendering it defective.

While the efficacy of the cream itself cannot be understated, it's disheartening that such a beneficial product is hindered by packaging flaws and can come in such a state.

Relief for sensitive itchy skin

This eczema daily care moisturising cream is definitely effective and helps my dry, sensitive affected body part a lot. After using daily, I feel a lot of reliefs to the areas that I often feel itchy, dry and irritated when the humidity is low and temperature is cold. This cream is thick but not too greasy, so it works to keep the dry area moist and clam the redness and discomfort feeling of skin. Last but not least, I like its fragrance-free smell which gives me a clean , plaint smell.

Love it

I love it! It truly has no scent, and it goes on nice and smooth. It completely dries down with no residue and it doesn't get anywhere. I like it more than the gel just because of the texture but they both work equally well. I prefer using later the cream at night VS the gel because I feel like it's thicker and more protective. however I think it's really just the same

Great Hydration

The Aveeno Eczema Care Daily Moisturizing Cream kept my skin well hydrated and created a barrier on my skin without leaving a greasy film. When using this cream my skin did not feel dry, tight or cracked. It's also nice that this cream is fragrance free so it does not irritate your skin or have a scent that conflicts with any perfume or scent you are wearing.

Lightweight but Effective!

I was slightly disappointed that we weren’t in the throes of dry, Alberta winter weather and an eczema flare up to fully give this product a real go, so unfortunately/fortunately I was only able to try it out in my very, dry, cracked skin. I don’t usually like the “smell” of fragrance-free products but this was really free of any scent at all, which was better than most unscented products. First thought is that it was very light-weight so I wasn’t expecting much. I didn’t have an active eczema flare up so I used it on my dry, cracked hands, feet and elbows and was pleasantly surprised at how well it works. In winter, my feet get so dry that I usually wake up in the middle of the night (often more than once) to put lotion on them. With this, I put it on before bed and it kept them sufficiently moisturized that I didn’t wake once! My hands and elbows also stopped being so dry and cracked that they were no longer painful and that’s saying a lot- especially during allergy season where I am washing my hands a ton! I loved that it was not sticky/greasy feeling and absorbed in right away. Usually I have to use heavy duty moisturizers to treat my driest areas and then can’t do anything until the product absorbs completely or I can’t stand the tacky texture left on my skin. While I am tempted to save this product until my next eczema flare up, it works so well, I know I will definitely have to re-buy by the time that rolls around. This was a very surprising WIN product for me!!!

Incredible eczema cream!

My hands have been flaring up really badly lately and this product came just in time for me to test out! It is deeply moisturizing and almost immediately calms the redness down and it lasts a long while too! Excited to keep using this!
