Very good thick moisturizing product for the winter

I loved trying out this product as part of the Chickadvisor Product Review Club. It's very rich and thick, so it's great if you have very dry, cracked skin. I used it on my knees and elbows. I could definitely see myself using this for months to come. Thank you!

Different kind of cream

I'm currently taking medication that makes my skin drier than usuaI and this cream has been helping a lot. received this product for free. The product is hard to describe, it is a hard cream, that you rub on your fingers. Very soothing and protects your skin really well. The jar is going to last me forever as it is very big.

Excellent moisturizer

I received this product as part of the Chick Advisor product review club.
I love that this is 100% scent free. Not even a hint of fragrance which can irritate already bothered skin. The formula is very very thick, almost like a solid balm. It melts right into the skin and spreads beautifully, you only need a very small amount. Absorbs really quickly and leaves no residue at all.
This did soothe the itching briefly but the results weren't long lasting. I did find this helps with dry skin amazingly well though so it's worth having on hand purely for that reason. Not sure if I'd purchase again just as a moisturizer though, but I will absolutely use the entire jar.

I was thrilled to be selected to try this product out for free. Especially at this time of the year when my eczema gets very bad. I've tried everything under the sun to help my problem skin, and this works as well as, if not better, than products that cost 5x as much!

My skin has seen a dramatic improvement since I started using it! I had already recommended it to family and friends and will be purchasing when I run out.

Effective Itch Relief

I got this free from Aveeno and Chick Advisor to review. In the winter my eczema is at its worst. Rashes and itches. This cream was odorless and effective. It kept my skin calm. The only negative is that it did take a while to absorb.

Best Itch Relief Cream Ever

AVEENO ECZEMA CARE ITCH RELIEF BALM truly works to relieve the itching from irritated skin. I like the thick texture as I can apply a thick layer for protection relief. It glides on and has no odour or perfumes. This cream relieved my eczema all over my back that I didn't need to use it after 2 days.

Effective!

I was really skeptical at first when I received the product. It really is a balm and looks/feels like petroleum jelly. That being said, it works! So if you can get past the texture and the stickiness, it's worth it!!

Aveeno Eczema Care Itch Relief Balm

Thanks Chick Advisor for letting me try the Aveeno Eczema Care Itch Relief Balm. This is a great product. I tried this along with my kids. My kids have sensitive, eczema prone skin which worsens in the dry winter months. I used this on their face and all over their body. It is a bit thick to apply but absorbs well and gives pretty good results. I find its better to apply this right after a shower or at night for best absorption. This is a great product and anyone suffering from eczema or dry itchy skin should definitely give it a try.

Good for instant relief

I was lucky enough to try this product free through the ChickAdvisor Product Review Club. Living in Northern Ontario, Canada me and my family suffer from very dry skin in the winter months. This was the perfect time to see this product in action. It deffinately lives up to its name as an "Itch Relief Balm" as it provided instant relief on the dry itchy patches of skin. The thick consistency of the product allows a little to go a long way which is an added value. I love that it is scent free and hypoallergenic as my son's skin is very sensitive so it was safe to use on his skin. I did find that it leaves skin sticky which I was not crazy about. I am not seeing long term relief or improvement in the eczema with this product. It needed to be reapplied often to show a slight difference, where other creams have shown a drastic improvement after a single application. We will continue to use it to see if longer use improves the eczema or just continues to keep it at bay.

Very Nice thick cream, but....

I received my cream complimentary to try and wanted to try it for at least 2 weeks on my eczema and pilaris(bumps on upper arms). I found that this cream was very different than what is out there on the market for sure, it has an incredibly thick texture and this does make it very moisturizing but also quite sticky. It has no odour, so good for those who have an aversion to perfum-y smelling creams. In terms of effectiveness I found it was just ok for both eczema and pilaris, it does take away itch, but I wished it would have worked a bit better on long term effects, maybe it needs to be used for a longer period to see great results. I will keep using it and recommend it to everyone anyway because this cream is pretty original and everyone should have it in their cupboard for times when you might need an extra extra moisturizing cream(good for dry elbows and knees for sure).
