Works wonders with use

I loved this product. With continued use eczema gets more relief. It is a little greasy but it works. I would purchase this in the future. And i will tell my friends about it.

Quasi instantanné

Il est vraiment difficile avec de l’eczéma de trouver une bonne creme hydratante qui va gérer la peau qui gratte. Des la première application j’ai senti un appaisement quasi instantanné. La creme est assée épaisse et riche pour controler pendant pratiquement toute la journée cette peau qui pique. Le seul point négatif que je pourrais dire est que la creme est un peu difficile à rincer sur les doigts/mains apres l’application.

Aveeno Eczema Care Itch Relief Balm is a great product!

The Aveeno eczema care itch relief balm was provided to me for free to review for the ChickAdvisor product review club. I have struggled with eczema since I was a kid and as most individuals with eczema know, most lotions/creams (especially scented products) tend to either aggravate eczema or not be sufficient in moisturizing and getting rid of itchy skin. I often use the Aveeno eczema moisturizing lotion because it is the only moisturizer that helps with my eczema symptoms, so I was excited to try this Aveeno eczema itch relief balm. After using this product for a week or so, I have to say that this product did not let me down. It soothes the itchiness right away and also provides moisture for a long period of time. The texture was a little surprising at first (the texture is thick kind of like Vaseline) because I am so used to the Aveeno moisturizer. The product tugs at the skin when you first put it on but once you rub the product into your skin it is very moisturizing and helps to calm the eczema symptoms. I noticed a difference in my skin after a few days. My hands were not as dry and itchy and it helped soothe the areas where I had broken skin. This product has no scent so if you are sensitive to scents you don't have to worry about that. You get 311g in the jar which should last you some time as a little bit of product goes a long way.

I would definitely recommend this product to anyone who suffers from eczema (as well as the Aveeno eczema moisturizer for when you're on-the-go). As I mentioned earlier, it feels weird when you first put it on due to its thickness, but you will notice a difference in your skin after a few days/weeks. I have to say that no other products compare to Aveeno when it comes to eczema care and I am so glad that I discovered their eczema line a few years back. I get severe symptoms of eczema because I have eczema on my hands and I wash my hands a lot, and as we know water tends to aggravate eczema. I put Aveeno on as soon as my hands start to get dry/itchy and that helps me manage my symptoms. This is a great product for those of us who suffer from eczema!

Aveeno Eczema Therapy Itch Relief Balm

Im excited to share that i was able to try this product for the first time free of charge by Aveeno.
the following is my honest and truthful review of the Aveeno Eczema Therapy Itch Relief Balm.
I have been using this balm for about two weeks with great results. i suffer from psoriasis as well as ecxema over large amounts of my body. The balm is smooth and scent free. it relieved the itchy
skin and helped calm the reddness. It also creates a barrier between the skin and your clothes to further help with dryness and the rubbing of affected area.
The size of this product is quit large. its a really great value for your money. the price being between 19.99 -29.99 depending on where you purchase.
The only issue that arose with this product was that the lid was hard to twist back on once you used the balm. it was necessary to wipe my hands clean before being able to return the lid back on.
I was extremely happy with this product. i will continue to use myself and would recommend to family and friends.This is a great and effective product. i would use again and again.

Awesome cream

Works well, really adds moisture without the itch that eczema brings. Would definitely recommend if you have a hard time finding a good moisturizer for sensitive skin.

Love /Hate Relationship

I very much am having a love /hate relationship with this product, although overall, I would say it really is very good, because it delivered on its promise to relieve the itch.

On the plus side, it:
* Actually did relieve itching almost instantaneously
* Helped to soothe dry and highly irritated skin
* I like that it had a very minimal scent - HUGE PLUS!
* Even worked on my horribly dry "winter skin"
* Smoothed out the rough patches on my hands
* Held up through a few hand washes, so you didn't have to re-apply constantly.

The only real "negative" for me was the amount of silicone in it. (Which is why it held out through hand washing.) It did a great job, but it felt almost sticky until it absorbed, which was mildly unpleasant. It cleared up some areas with eczema, although not all, but it did make it feel much better if it didn't clear it.

Very Soothing, Calms, Reduces Eczema Symptoms

I received this Aveeno product #gotitfree from #chickadvisor to #tryforfree as a tester and then to do this review.

I have mild to moderate Eczema on my hands and lower arms and elbows. I do use a prescribed cream, but it doesn't do much for actually repairing the skin and I found that the Aveeno Balm made my skin very supple and soft and no itch at all. The redness was still there a bit, but in the winter my Eczema is a lot worse, especially with dry cold air.

I applied the Aveeno balm 2-3 times a day. Always after my bath as well, and I was blown away at how well it controlled the scaly, cracked skin and made my totally itch free.

I also am happy about how far a small amount of the balm goes. This 311 gram container will last me a good amount of time. I am very impressed and will definitely buy this again. It is a great product to have sitting next to my prescribed cream. I did find that I didn't need to use my prescribed cream nearly as often as I usually do.

I used this Aveeno Eczema Care Itch relief balm for 10 days on one hand and only my prescribed cream for 10 days on the other hand.. My one hand was soooo... itchy .. The overall health of my skin was a million times better in both look and feel with using the Aveeno.

A Definite Winner in the Battle Against Dry, Itchy Skin

I was fortunate to be able to try this product courtesy of Chick Advisor. As someone who not only gets very dry, sore, itchy skin in the winter but experiences patches of eczema around my ears, this was a welcome opportunity.

First, this product is very moisturizing; it's a rich, thick cream that does feel like it takes awhile to absorb but, once it does it's very effective at remedying dryness. I also found it very soothing, it definitely relieved the itchy soreness of my worst dry spots. In terms of my eczema around the ears, I noticed it eliminated the sore, flaky spots completely in about 3 days.

I was happy to note that this cream is very natural and has no fragrance which in my opinion often adds to irritation. This cream is definitely going on my list of must haves, particularly in the winter when I tend to struggle with my skin.

My partner, son and myself all struggle with dry skin and I personally have eczema. An on again, off again struggle I've had my whole life. At first I was grateful to receive this cream as it's always good to try new products that combat eczema and dry skin. I used it religiously, in the morning and at bedtime and within a few days I started to see results. I also used this on my son and his dry hands and my partner's working hands and they all saw success.

I did like this product due to irrititaed skin. Which is a on going thing. I found that this does sooth the skin do what I was satisfied. But I found that the lotion did not feel the greatest on the skin. And it felt very sticky
