It works!

It works! My son tends to get bad flair ups on his face, around his mouth, where a steroid cream just isn’t an option. We’ve tried a few different products and while they seemed to provide some relief in the moment, they didn’t do a whole lot. I tried this on him before bed and he commented right away how it felt nice on his skin. By the morning he went from a rash the size of my palm to one about the size of a quarter AND he didn’t fuss throughout the night from the itching, which is a first! This is absolutely a new staple in our household.

Really liked this gel cream. It was very lightweight and great for sensitive skin. My skin felt really hydrated and I noticed a lot less itching and dryness in the bad spots!

I received Aveeno Eczema Rescue Relief Gel and Aveeno Eczema Care Daily Moisturizing Cream for free from Butterly in exchange for my honest review. The Aveeno Eczema Rescue Relief Gel immediately soothes and cools the skin during a flare-up, and absorbs quickly without leaving a greasy residue behind. It helped to clear up symptoms faster than other products I have tried, and is recommended by dermatologists. I love the shea butter and colloidal oat that not only keeps my skin soft but it also helps my skin barrier lock in moisture. Moreover, it's steroid, paraben, phthalate, and fragrance-free. The only down side I can see is that it contains alpha hydroxy acid (AHA), which can enhance the skin’s sensitivity to the sun and creates a higher risk for sunburns which is noted on the products facts table.
The Aveeno Eczema Care Daily Moisturizing Cream, like the Gel, relieves itchiness, dryness, and irritation, and helps to prevent flare-ups with regular use. It also contains colloidal oat which helps strengthens the skins barrier and keeps it hydrated for extended periods. I use to wake up off and on throughout the night due to my skin becoming extremely itchy, now because I use the cream before I go to bed i have been able to sleep through the night. Not only is it free of steroids, parabens, and fragrances but it doesn’t contain any GMO oats either, making it suitable for sensitive skin, and as a bonus it has been accepted by the Eczema Society of Canada. Both products are reasonably priced for their size. I highly recommend them both for anyone struggling with eczema, dry, itchy, or irritated skin. The Gel is ideal for flare-ups, while the Moisturizing Cream is perfect for everyday use.

My daughter loves using it whenever her eczema flares up especially during dry winter months. I also enjoy using it whenever my winter rashes come up on my elbow.

I love that it was so easy to rub into our skin and stayed on even for couple washes of hands.
