So soothing and light!

I was lucky to get two full sized samples from Aveeno and Butterly to try the Eczema Care Rescue Relief gel. My skin has always been drier and especially after neglecting it while traveling and using basic soaps my eczema on my arms and upper lip tend to flare up.

I was sceptical this wouldn't burn as I have had issues in the past but both these products were fantastic and felt so nice on my skin!

I even used the cream version on my upper lip where it can be unbelievably dry and painful but it didn't hurt at all and was nicely moisturizing and calming to my skin.

You can see in my video the gel pump comes with a safety "plug" to keep the product sanitary and uncontaminated! I love that someone thought of this and put it in the design!

There is no detectable aroma and the gel feels great on application and very soothing.

If you have eczema prone skin and sensitive skin I definately recommend you try it!

Instant relief from itchy dry skin

This was one of the best products that I have tried without a prescription. Aveeno never fails to deliver the best possible results. I could tell by only a few uses that this gel cream works to relieve from eczema. The texture is gel like and it
Absorbs well in the skin and doesn’t leave skin greasy. With 2% Colloidal oatmeal and shea butter, it is known to have a calming effect on the skin. It gives instant relief from itching which I loved as it helped my daughter. We’d buying this again for relief from occasional eczema flare ups.

Quick relief and easy to apply

I've been using this gel cream for a few days now, and it seems to work well on my dry skin. As this is more of a watery texture , I find it's easier to apply for larger areas like on my dry, itchy legs, compared to thicker moisturizing creams. I didn't find that there was a cooling effect, except for the feeling of the gel drying off my skin. I love that this gel cream is fragrance free, made with colloidal oats and shea butter while hydrating skin without that sticky, oily feel. This would be nice to use when the weather is warmer, and you don't want to feel all sticky after applying a moisturizer.

This gel has a soothing effect, relieves itching and redness. Very light and pleasant cream-gel structure. Also gas a little oatmeal smell. can be used on the face and body.

Good for decreasing itchiness

Part of a line of useful and well made eczema products from Aveeno, the eczema care rescue relief and daily moisturizing cream make a great duo for people suffering from itchy, dry eczema-ridden skin. Having had eczema my whole life, it is a constant, frustrating uphill battle to try and keep it at bay and from interfering with daily activities. Even at night it is problematic due to the itchiness that sometimes wakes me up. I found the rescue relief gel to be useful if used first to relieve itchiness and the daily moisturizing cream made for a great barrier to soften the skin and keep my hands hydrated. The scratching decreased and I was able to function comfortably for several hours before needing to re-apply. Both the gel and cream are thick and hydrating, but not sticky or tacky when they dry. They are steroid-free, which is excellent for eczema users who may worry about thinning of the skin with repeated topical steroid use. As you can see from the photo, we are big fans of Aveeno's effective and affordable eczema care products and would recommend them to others suffering from similar conditions. Made with oatmeal and shea butter, this gel and cream duo is good for controlling minor flare ups or as part of a maintenance routine. Absolutely amazing! AVEENO® Eczema Care Rescue Relief Treatment Gel Cream is exceptionally great and works beyond my expectations. My teenage daughter keeps stealing it from me to use for herself which means I will most likely be purchasing two of these at a time!

Sent for free from Butterly & Aveeno for my honest review: Aveeno Eczema Relief Gel Cream: has a more liquid consistency and feels like a gel and cream in one. Now this really helped my husband’s eczema and started to help stop the itching, soothed the area, and started to moisturize the area and make it heal. He has not found anything that has helped him and he instantly noticed it helping. This instantly soothes and cools itchy dry skin and helps mild to moderate eczema. This is steroid free, 2% Colloidal Oatmeal, Shea butter and was developed with Eczema consumers. These are both being purchased again to help my husband with his eczema flare ups because I think they both would help him so much! Thank you to Butterly and Aveeno Canada for sending this our way! Love love love it!

I love that this product is different than the cream, and a little does go a long way! I have a prescription steroid gel and would love to replace that with this product after a few uses! It soaks in super fast, feels extremely hydrating and is long lasting. My only wish is that it smelled better. Love this product, thank you thank you!!

Amazing

I’ve been using this for a week and I definitely see a difference.
The redness in my face is not so red, it feels good. It does not feel greasy at all. I’m actually amazed!
