Aveeno’s Eczema Care Rescue Relief Treatment Gel Cream is really soothing the skin. This gel formula felt very silky not sticky. It gave me immediate relief on my red, dry, irritated skin and it did not sting!

Itching is Gone

Got the Gel and Cream for Eczema for free to try and review the effectiveness. I have Psoriasis and my sister has bad Eczema. So we are reviewing together. Psoriasis doesn't itch so I didn't try the gel but the cream made a difference that has lasted a week after applying for four days. My sister then took the samples and began her experience with the product. For her the gel is awesome for stopping the itch from the Eczema flare up and helped heal the area. The skin stayed dry so she followed up with the cream which was the perfect combination. Her skin hasn't been this healthy since using a prescription and she has tried a number of off the shelf product with minimal success. The prescription was very effective and worked this fast but has a cost plus needing to see the doctor for renewals. Having a product that she can purchase off the shelf with the flare up happens is so much easier. Both of us would so recommend this product.

A Must Have for Eczema

The Aveeno Eczema Rescue Relief Gel absorbs in the skin quickly. The texture of the gel is clear and after rubbing on the skin it absorbs. There is natural ingredients of oat and shea butter. It has no fragrance. It helps soothe the Eczema flare ups and itchiness, irritation, and dry skin. The gel is lightweight and has a creamy texture. Received the product for free from Butterly.

Lightweight and hydrating gel.

I found this gel cream to be very light weight and hydrating, but not as effective as the AVEENO Eczema Daily Moisturizing Cream. It soothed the itching but did not leave any residue or grease behind. Five-ten minutes after use the skin appeared relieved and treated but not as if any moisturizer had even been applied. This product, much like the rest of the AVEENO Eczema line is also scent-free so it is great for irritated skin.

Helps with eczema

This works perfect on my sensitive skin with seasonal eczema conditions. It will be a long term thing to get rid off eczema but this at least help me reduce the uncomfortable feeling from having eczema.

Works amazingly!

I have been using the Eczema Care Rescue Relief Gel Cream by Aveeno for the last week and I have found it has worked wonders on the dry, rough skin on my hands. To explain, I make candles for a living and I wash my hands many, many times a day. On account of all of this washing my hands have been so dry that the skin often flakes and even bleeds. I have tried many hand creams but they just don’t provide enough moisture for what my hands need.
I have found this product to work amazingly to repair the skin on my hands (particularly my right hand which experiences more dryness as I’m right handed). The lighting in my before and after photos may be different, but the photos were taken a week apart and you can see the difference in how much smoother my hand looks after using this cream for a week. With more time I feel like this product will fully restore the moisture in my hands. I do see a huge improvement already!
This gel cream has a smooth texture that glides on thick and absorbs fairly quickly. Though it is unscented, it does have a hint of a Shea butter type scent. I slather on this cream nightly right before bed so it can absorb overnight.
Overall, I highly recommend this product if you experience eczema or any other type of skin ailments that cause extreme dryness. It really works!
