Does have a relieving effect!

This product definitely helped to relieve my skin and gave it a "cool down" effect when I experienced intense itchiness in my skin (due to eczeema or non-eczeema related itchiness). The effect lasted for me about 2 minutes, which after had to reapply as needed. Overall does the job to relieve itchiness!

Gel that is smooth

This a Reno gel moisturizer goes on smooth and does not leave a sticky feeling after applying. I really like the way this makes my skin feel after using it.

This is a cooling gel

This eczema gel helps to relieve sever flare outs. It cools the skin, soothing the area. It feels great on the skin but since it’s a bit of a runny formula it is a bit messy so you have to be careful. However the spreadability is great for all over the body. Overall though I prefer the cream version of this product.

Great eczema product

I love this product! I sometimes found that some eczema lotions were a little heavy and too thick for me. This gel cream felt light and helped soothe my eczema almost immediately.

A pump based prod

This aveeno eczema care rescue relief gel is smooth and not thick and or greasy. I enjoy the pump but worry that by the end of use there will be a lot of product left (which then becomes expensive for me to rebuy).

Moisture locked in!

I absolutely love the creamy soothing texture of the AVEENO® Eczema Care Rescue Relief Treatment Gel Cream on the skin. The gel makes it feel like the moisture is being locked into your skin, and there is instant coolness and relief when applied. Love!

Worked well

I love how the gel has oatmeal and Shea butter. This will be great for the cold and dry winter months. It absorbed really quickly and did not leave a sticky residue. My skin immediately feels less dry after applying this. I like how it doesn’t sting and the pump makes it super easy to apply.

Has a slight scent!

My whole body gets dry after coming back from a humid place to our dry cold climate. My legs especially get very itchy and irritated. After I had a shower I used the AVEENO Eczema Care Rescue Relief Treatment Gel Cream and it instantly hydrated my skin. There was no more itching or irritation from the dryness. I wasn’t a fan of the scent though as it does have a slight one. It is a little more runny of a formula as well. But over all I did enjoy this. Thanks to butterly and aveeno for the chance to test in exchange for my honest review.

Excellent relief for a flair up!

This is an effective product for instant relief during a flair up. The packaging is unique and the product dispenses nicely. I assumed the product would dispense like an after sun gel, however it has more of a lotion texture than a gel.
The cooling effect of the lotion is instantly calming and it absorbs quickly with a light massage. However, after application my skin is slightly tacky and for that reason I wouldn’t use it as part of my regular preventative routine. I would purchase this lotion to take with me on vacation, for emergency use or immediate relief if I was struggling to manage my skin. It’s a product I would grab to have around if the price point was right.
