Not for me

I received this free product from Butterly. The texture of it was nice. It is a thick creamy consistency. I tried it on the same eczema spot for a few days and did not notice a difference.

Aveeno Eczema Care - Recue Relief Gel Cream

My daughter ended up trialing this product. She found that the gel was smooth and cooling, but didn't really seem to change her skin at all, but is continuing to use it to see if more time is needed for an effect to be seen. She also found that the smell was unpleasant, although it was scent free. She would prefer something with a scent, as she didn't like the smell of this particular product.

Works but might be better options

I received the @aveenoca Eczema Care Daily Moisturizing Cream and Rescue Relief Gel to review from @thisisbutterly. The Eczema Daily Moisturizing Cream works great from Eczema or aggravated skin. It calm mine and my kids skin. The cream is a bit tacky, so not great for everyday wear but the relief it gives for Eczema is so worth it. The Rescue Relief Gel was about the same relief as the Daily Moisturizing Cream. It is much more tacky/sticky. Overall, both products provided equal relief. I would recommend the Daily Moisturizing Cream. Don’t really see a need for the Rescue Relief as the cream worked just as good.

Okayish

This gel works amazing on my skin. I am not really in love with texture which did put me little bit off. The gel does melt very fast in the skin and get absorbed. However i will prefer moisturizer/lotion consistency.

Good idea, didn’t like it

Good idea but I didn’t like the gel. I thought it would be light and cooling but it ended up being runny and a little sticky. It didn’t have the cooling effect that was advertised. Would not purchase

Loved the texture

My eczema is not really itchy theses days, so I did not saw a difference, but I can’t wait to try it on mosquitos bites this summer.
Mon eczéma ne me démange pas tellement ces temps-ci, alors je n’ai pas vraiment vu de différence, mais j’ai très hâte de l’essayer sur les piqûres d’insectes cet été.

Thin watery texture - felt too sticky

I received this product for free in exchange for my honest review. I have a mild case of eczema, with patches on my legs and arms. They're typically not very noticeable unless my skin is very dry or irritated from something. I usually shy away from medicated products because I don't want to become dependent on any specific active ingredient. Compared to the thicker creams in this skincare line, this gel cream has a watery, thinner consistency. While it initially feels cooling upon application, I found it to be quite sticky for an extended period. Additionally, I didn't feel like it provided enough moisture to form a protective barrier on my skin. Personally, I prefer thicker creams and will repurchase. However, this is simply my own preference. I actually enjoy the daily moisturizing cream from this Eczema Care line more.

It works but not as good as hydrocortisone cream

I have to say this product is good... but its not much better than a regular moisturizer. It doesnt reduce redness like the cream does, and it also doesnt stop the flareups of eczema immediately like the cream. Even though there are no side effects... its really not used for emergency or "rescue".

Not more me!

Provided temporary relieve due to my skin irritation but wasn’t a fan of when it stopped working. Of course my first reaction is to start itching again and not thinking to apply more but it left this thick residue that flacked when itching the location it was applied to.

Just ok

This was just fine for me. I think the gel formula was not moisturizing enough for my skin. The smell was good and it did not leave my skin too greasy or sticky.
