Even Gentler Than Aveeno Products Made for Adults!

Thank you Butterly @thisisbutterly & Chick Advisor @chickadvisor for selecting my family for your Johnson & Johnson Canada’s Aveeno Baby Kids Campaign @aveenokids. We were sent a full sized 227 ml tube of Aveeno Kids Sensitive Skin Face & Body Gel Cream, and a full sized 532 ml pump bottle of Aveeno Kids Sensitive Skin Face & Body Wash, to try for FREE in exchange for my honest review.

Kids’ skin needs special care. While kids have outgrown most baby skincare products, they are still too young to use many skincare products developed for adults. This Aveeno Kids skincare line is specially designed for kids’ developing and sensitive skin needs.

My son first tested the Aveeno Kids Sensitive Skin Face & Body Wash with Oat Extract in his evening shower. This hypoallergenic, tear-free, face & body wash claims to wash away germs & dirt without drying or stripping the skin’s natural oils. My son said the gentle scent “smelt a bit like baby powder, but felt nice”. It lathered great! Leaving his skin feeling clean and moisturized. The pump bottle is easy for kids to use in the shower or bath.

After his shower, my son tried the Aveeno Kids Sensitive Skin Face & Body Gel Cream with prebiotic oat. This hypoallergenic product claims to provide lightweight 24 hour hydration, for soft smooth skin. He mostly put this gel cream on his legs and arms, targeting his knees and elbows. This gel cream absorbed fast! It wasn’t greasy or too sticky. My son wasn’t a huge fan of the scent, but he agreed it was gentle “like powder”, and it did not irritate his skin. I tried a bit of this product on my arms. I thought the scent lingered for some time, but was gentle.

Aveeno Kids Sensitive Skin Face & Body Gel Cream and Aveeno Kids Sensitive Skin Face & Body Wash contain no phthalates, sulfates, dyes, or phenoxyethanol, and are suitable for all skin types. I would recommend these Aveeno Kids products to other parents looking for pediatrician & dermatologist recommended products for their kids’ sensitive skin.

Efficace,doux et abordable

Cela fait près de 2 semaine que j'utilise le gel-crème visage et corps de Aveeno kids pour mon garçon.La routine du dodo est beaucoup plus agréable. Les produit sentent bons et favorise la détente.La texture de celui-ci est vraiment intéressante et ressort du lot étant donné qu'elle est ni grasse et ni-collante!
La formule beaucoup plus "clean" et surtout sans phenoxyethanol a su me charmer.
Je recommande tout simplement !

Amazing texture!

Light and moisturizing, I like this texture on my daughter’s dry skin in the daytime where she doesn’t want to feel sticky. It dries nicely, I only wish it didn’t have fragrance as it irritates her skin when she’s having a flare up. Love the inclusion of oat in this formula! Definitely soothing and the ingredients list doesn’t include things like parabens, phthalates and dyes – perfect for sensitive little skin!

As a side note, I love the chameleon character, Leon! I adore the tagline of “I’m here to help you feel comfortable in your own skin.” Such a feel-good story!

Baby smooth skin

This product definitely does what it says. This leaves skin baaaaaby smooth and it lasts. The only thing I didn’t love about this product was the scent. It reminds me of mens deodorant scents which I think is too strong of a scent for a kids product. I think a fresh, very light scent would have been better. However, Aveeno did a great job with this formula. It is silky smooth, non greasy, and hypoallergenic!

Classic great product by Aveeno!

As a parent, finding a skincare product that is gentle yet effective for my child's sensitive skin can be quite challenging. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the Aveeno® Kids Sensitive Skin Face & Body Gel Cream.

Firstly, the gel cream is formulated specifically for children's delicate skin, and it is free from parabens, phthalates, and fragrance. This is important to me as I don't want to expose my child's skin to unnecessary chemicals.

The texture of the gel cream is lightweight and easy to apply. It absorbs quickly into the skin without leaving a greasy residue, which is great for children who are always on the move. It also doesn't leave any sticky or uncomfortable feeling on the skin.
Their skin felt smoother, softer, and more hydrated, which is fantastic, especially during the dry winter months. Overall, I highly recommend the Aveeno® Kids Sensitive Skin Face & Body Gel Cream. It's gentle yet effective, and it's perfect for children's delicate skin. Plus, the fact that it's free from harmful chemicals is a huge bonus!

Great product

Great texture and scent. Absorbs well and provides nice soft skin. Great packaging as it does not require a lot of handling when baby is wiggling around. Great for baby massage.

Bedtime routine must have

We have incorporated this face and body cream into our daughter bedtime routine. A little dollop goes a long way. The smell is nice and soothing, fitting for bedtime. Not greasy to apply and our daughter looks forward to applying it during bedtime routine

Baby soft skin with Aveeno kids face and body gel

I tried Aveeno Kids face and body gel cream for a week on my child , he has dry skin so this cream gel did the trick in retaining the moisture as most creams dry out soon and need to be re applied . I love that this cream gel is so lightweight , contains pre biotic oat and fast absorbing , so you need to apply once a day after bath and your child’s skin will be well moisturized through out the day. It’s free from nasties which is an important factor for me when deciding a skincare brand for my child. Definitely recommend this cream as it’s long lasting , lightly scented and great as warm weather approaches us soon to get that baby soft feeling skin.

Gel cream to substitute lotion

Aveeno is always a syep ahead to do something new. They introduced the gel based baby lotion which is easy to apply and is a lot mess free as compared to the lotions. I love using it for my kiddo!!

Little surprised

I was a little skeptical because I've always been deterred from gel creams especially body ones. But I'm always looking for good stuff for the kiddos. So first thing the light scent it advertises I personally find stronger than light I'm also not a fan of the scent in general. That said this stuff did go a long way in application and dried down fast as well it did surpringly make my kids skin softer feeling than expected. This is how it was on my oldest who has less sensitive skin than his brother I will say for my youngest almost 4 year old who suffers from eczema pretty bad this gel cream stung his skin in certain places that he has dryer skin. I didn't expect this to be good for my youngest so that's fine but for my 8 year old with only mild sensitive skin it worked well and we will use up the product :) I received this free to try from butterly but all opinions are my own
