I received a bottle of Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer in a Glossybox about a year ago, and had previously seen it on store shelves but hadn't purchased due to the price. I can't say anything remarkable about this lotion, but the fact that it has maintained my skin and I haven't had any complaints is remarkable in itself! This is my go to, perfect daily moisturizer that I use each morning before work. It doesn't have a strong scent, the pump is handy (and sanitary), and it balances my combination skin perfectly.
It is a bit pricy, but two pumps will do my face and neck, and one bottle will last me about three months of 5x weekly morning use. Whether my skin is edging on a little dry, or a little oily, Aveeno Positively Radiant will balance it.
I used the cleanser in this line And love it. I would never have classified my skin as sensitive, only dry, but this moisturizer leaves my skin red and burning! Also, it really irritates the skin around my eyes!! Thumbs Down!!
There is nothing special about this cream at all
I received it in one of my beauty boxes I think about 2 months ago? and it is still three quarters full
It does however have a pleasant scent! There is nothing that makes this product stand out against all the skin creams I have previously tried
I wasn’t too thrilled with the Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer. Although it claims to be fast absorbing I didn’t find that to be the case at all. It also claims to help naturally even out skin tone and immediately reflect light to bring out your skin’s natural radiance. I found that it made my skin look worse then it all ready does on its own. I have combo acne prone skin that can be very fussy about what I put on it; this was just one of those products my skin didn’t take to at all. As for scent it was mild enough and was unnoticeable with in minutes of applying it. Another thing I didn’t like about it was that I had to sit and wait for my face to feel dry enough to apply my makeup. I don’t know about you but I don’t have time to wait for much these days. Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer does contain soy extracts that are a purified form of the same natural soy that is recognized for its smoothing and evening effects on skin, it just didn’t work for me in this way. All Aveeno brands are dermatologist recommended and have bin for over sixty years, how ever you have to test each product out for yourself because we are still all different and our skin will react differently to everything we use. One nice thing that I do like about this moisturizer is that it contains SPF 30 witch I thought was pretty good compared to some other moisturizers on the market today. This is one of those products that are not for me, but might be for you. If you can get a sample from Aveeno I would suggest you try that before you buy it.
I have been using this product for about 3 months now. I orginally bought it because I like the fact that it has a pump rather than dipping your hand into a jar. It has an SPF and that the ads claim to even out skin tone.
I love the way it feels on my skin. It's not too thick or thin and is very smooth. While my face is soft, I haven't seen a huge difference in my skin.
For a face cream with SPF, this product was the best deal on the shelf however for my skin type this cream was too heavy. I have pretty regular skin, a bit on the oily side. The cream clogged my pores and as a result I had white pimples.
I know oatmeal is supposed to be soothing to dry, itchy skin. I know most people with sensitive skin seem to like Aveeno products. I know I wanted to like it...because it is readily available, inexpensive, smells pretty good, absorbed well into my skin, didn't feel greasy....
It was great for about two weeks and then the itchy, tight skin returned. The more I used it, the itchier I became.
Sorry sesitive lasses, this one wasn't for me.
This review is for Aveeno Positively Radiant SPF 30.
I did not like the smell. Not as nice as smell from Aveeno Ultra-Calming SPF 15
I got this for the higher SPF in an affordable morning moisturizer.
If you have problems with sunscreen in your eyes, don't get this one. I was at a dinner with my family and I could not see! Sometimes sunscreen gets in and you feel it in there, but with this in my eyes, I would not have trusted myself to drive us home.
Overall I would not recommend. It wasn't much for moisturizing either and like most left shine.
