Too stripping

I got this product to review from chick advisor's product review club

While I like the concept of this cleanser, it stripped my skin. My skin felt tight and dry right after using it. I don't think it's the best if you have dry skin and would not get it again

Works Well But Slightly Drying

I received this product for free from Chickadvisor to test in exchange for my honest review. Lets start with the positives. I like the bottle this cleanser comes in. I love that it is in a pump bottle with makes it easy and convenient to use. One full pump is enough to cleanse my entire face even with makeup. This cleaner foams up really nicely and creates a rich lather.

The cleanser feels very luxurious on my face. The smell is nice and mild and I find myself inhaling deeply while cleansing because it smells so refreshing. This product washes off fairly easily and does not leave any residue what so ever. My only negative is a few minutes after cleaning I did feel my face get very tight and dry. Now I will say that just coming out of winter my skin has been very dry. So the dryness may not be from the cleanser itself but more as result of the current condition of my skin. After applying a litter moisturizer my skin felt fine again. I will monitor my skin and see once we are in to Spring how my skins feel after using it.
Depending on how my skin reacts to this cleanser once the Winter dryness is gone I may repurchase because overall I did feel like this product cleaned fairly well. The value for this product is pretty good. It only takes 1 pump to cleanse my entire face so this bottle will last a very long time and I believe is priced quite fairly.

Nice light cleanser

I was lucky enough to #gotitfree from chick advisor and was so thrilled to be selected as this is a product I use daily. Now first off the smell is so nice, fresh , light and not overpowering which is so important with facial cleansers. I tested it on full make up face as well as after I removed my make up. Now I am not a heavy make up wearer but this most definitely did not do the job to remove much of anything when it came to my make up which is fine as I usually remove prior to cleansing. I like that it does not make my skin feel overly dry right after cleansing but also there is n greasy residue. So for price point compared to quality it is a great cleanser for everyday use.

Aveeno MaxGlow Micellar Gel Face Cleanser

Aveeno MaxGlow Micellar Gel Face Cleanser is a good quality gentle cleanser. The pump dispenser is great and one pump is enough to clean the whole face. Initially it comes out as a gel that transforms into a milky lather in contact with water. It rinses easily with water and leaves your face feeling soft and hydrated.

I found it to be gentle on my skin, but at the same time effective in removing dirt and make up (with the exception of waterproof makeup). Price wise is similar to what I am already used to paying for a cleanser. I would recommend this to family and friends. I'm already sharing with my daughter.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Maxglow Micellar Gen Cleanser

I would like to thank ChickAdvisor for letting me test this product for free.
It was my first time to try facial products from Aveeno.
The concept of a micellar gel is new to me as I'm used to micellar water.
This product contains kiwi and soya that are responsible for promoting moisture and even tone. This product has a lovely texture, very light and gentle. I would describe it as very user-friendly, pleasant and easy to use.
Very effective as it washes your make-up and impurities off in a matter of seconds. Skin feels very refreshed.
I have combination skin and in my case I found this product to be a little bit too dry. My skin felt a bit uncomfortable each time I washed my face. However, I definitely think the product does what it is intended to do. For this reason I definitely recommend it to others.
It comes in a bottle with a pump which makes it very economical. It is a great value because it contains 150 ml.

Great cleanser for my combination skin

I received Aveeno Maxglow micellar gel cleanser to try and I really liked it. I have usually use mucellar water cleanser and haven’t tried gel form and was excited to try. I really like that the product is very gentle on skin. I have combination skin and it worked well for both of my need and felt very clean and dewy after. I would buy this product!

Good foaming facial cleanser with no residue

I got this free for review. This is a 150mL pump dispenser that is easy to use and takes little room in my shower shelf. The fresh smell is nice but not overpowering around the face. The clear gel quickly foams up when rubbed on the face and hands. I use this with my Handheld facial wash tool that microvibrations it cleanses well on a face with no makeup on. The only downside I noticed that this does not clean makeup off and I needed to use a makeup wipe afterwards to clean off my foundation after washing. So best use a makeup wipe before using this. Otherwise, my skin felt clean, refreshed, and not tight afterwards.

I would use this product as a daily cleanser

The first thing I noticed was the scent. It's a nice fresh floral fragrance. The gel cleanser is light weight and went on smoothly and a little covered a large area.
It felt cool and washed off easily. The fragrance lingers which is something I didn't like. My skin felt clean and looked after it dried.

Effective but too drying

I received Aveeno Positively Radiant Maxglow Micellat Gel Cleanser for free to try. I really like how effective it is at removing all my sunscreen and makeup. I love using the pump because it is very ergonomic and convenient for daily use. The scent is very light and lovely, not overpowering. However, this cleanser left my skin feeling a bit dry after daily use for 2 weeks now. I think this would be a great cleanser for oily skin folks as it is very effective. Overall, great cleanser with lovely scent, but just not for dry skin people.

A little too clean!

When the product arrived, it had slightly exploded out of the bottle so it was a little messy as the soap was between the plastic wrapping and the bottle.

I really enjoyed using it on my skin as it was super smooth and easy to rub. It also smelled wonderful, not strong but just a light scent. My only problem that I do have with this product is that I find afterwards, it leaves my skin much more dry than my normal face wash. I understand that you need to re moisturize after washing, but this was a little too quick. I could begin to feel my face start to tighten even as I was drying it.
