MAXGLOW serum + primer is Positively Perfect

I really enjoyed the feel of this primer and serum combo. I typically use a makeup primer that is similar to a moisturizer and a separate serum at night. It looks a little like a salad dressing which needs to be shaken before use. Open a use a few drops evenly over your face. My face felt refreshed and soft. My foundation went in smoothly and easily. My only concern is opening the bottle after shaking. I found a little issue with contents under pressure. Perhaps a different lid system would benefit users.

Not sure yet

I’m still unsure about how I feel about this product: primers that I am used to are creams or gels, so that was my expectation. When I opened the package and it was an oil, I wasn’t sure how to use it. I’m used to putting on a moisturizer as well, so I wasn’t sure how that was supposed to work; to moisturizer first or not...... worried that my skin would end up too oily. I need more one with it to really develop a valid opinion.

Great product but made me breakout

The serum felt hydrating and my makeup went on smoothly. The smell is divine and felt 'clean'. However, I broke out into a rash the next day.

I was not a fan of the bottle design- if you shake the bottle (which you should so the oil and liquid mix), the liquid fall out when you open the cap. It is not designed for easy application


If you do not have sensitive skin and do not care for practical packaging, I would highly recommend

Its alright

This serum is fresh and light. It didn't come up to par with actual makeup primer but it did add a subtle glow. I used this over my moisturizer and under my primer.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Maxglow Serum + Primer

This product that I recieved from Chickadvisor as a first time try free product was truly worth the experience. This clear liquid makeup primer I use everyday before I put my makeup on. It keeps make look fesh and helps the bright unique appearance last longer. Great scent and great product.

Amazon for your skin

I got to try this product for free from acerbic and chic advisor first of all thank you this product is amazing helps with my dry skin witch I have struggled with for years. This product helps mosturize my skin and leave it feeling amazing. After just three days the difference was amazing ! I am almost out and definitely will be heading to the store to buy more !

So smooth!!

The Aveeno Maxglow serum and primer doesn't clump under my makeup. Super smooth! Light fresh smell! Loving this new range from Aveeno because of the smell. It's not easy to get the product out, first few times I managed to spill it. Did not like the top. #gotitfree

Made me breakout and I don't!

I was able to try this product before buying thanks to ChickAdvisor and Aveeno. I really liked the idea of a serum and primer in one and I wanted to love this! I shook it gently and it mixed well and stayed mixed. It was easy to use and absorbs well. I used it twice on clean skin. Then the unthinkable happened - I broke out! I haven't broke out in years and years. This product just didn't work for me and gave me a completion that I was very unhappy with. It could just be me and may work well for someone else. It felt great on my skin and works fantastic under my BB cream, but I could do without the zits! Thanks anyway. Sadly this is a pass for me.

Greasy

This product had me so excited about it. However it made my face very greasy and oily. It has a nice light smell and the packaging is nice, but it just didn’t work for me. I have combination skin, and it just let me down!

I’d buy this product

This is a great primer for making your makeup look great and last all day. It’s light weight non oily and easy to use. No greasy oily feel . Nice base coat .
