Could Be Improved

My overall accessment of this product is that it's packaging can be more user friendly - perhaps a dropper or a pump. The formula is one that is separated in the bottle due to different densities, but if it were to be emulsified, maybe a touch thicker in consistency it would work much better with a pump dispenser.

The formula is very watery and applies quite wet and dewy. I don'tfind that it makes my foundation last longer, more does it provide any grip or lasting power.

I like the idea of it being a 2 in 1 serum primer, as it saves me time in the mornings. Looking for improvements before I'd be able to recommend it.

Aveeno Maxglow sérum+base n'est certainement pas un produit que je vais réutiliser et je suis très heureuse de ne pas avoir payée pour avoir été déçue de la sorte. Même en mettant très peu de sérum avant d'appliquer mon maquillage, mon maquillage devient gras sans bon sens et la sensation qui me reste au visage est vraiment désagréable. Je n'ai pas la peau grasse, voire même hyper sèche, donc le problème ne vient pas de ma peau mais du produit en soit.

Smooth and Easy

This is a great addition to my skin care routine. It made for a great base before i applied my makeup. My makeup was able to go on evenly and looked more 'polished' then before.

the price is fair I guess but I kind of thought it would be under $20. Overall I like it I don't love it.

I am not sold on this

The product requires that you shake it prior to dispensing. The product doesn't come out in a streamlined way but splashes onto the hand. I think using a cotton pad or puff might work better. It smells lovely and absorbed quickly but it didn't leave my skin super smooth. When i put on foundation I could see dry patches. Overall it was a nice product but if you are looking for 100% smoothness after using it to apply makeup it didn't achieve that.

Not for me

I love the idea for this product and I am always eager to try a new primer. When I put this product on my face, my skin did feel softer, but it didn't smooth my skin as much as other primers, perhaps because the consistency is so thin. Makeup can be applied effectively after using this product. However, I found that my makeup did not last very long, which is what I'm looking for out of a primer. I may try using this product again during the summer when my skin isn't so dry, but as of right now I would not purchase it. I received this product for free.

Not for me

I was very grateful to be chosen for ChickAdvisors product review club to try this but I honestly was not a fan. I was very confused how this was a “serum” yet it goes on last. While it did give my skin a nice glow, I don’t feel it changed my skin at all over the past week. As a primer I feel like it worked ok, but I prefer my other brand. If you don’t wear face makeup this would probably be an ok product but under makeup I feel the effect is lost. It did smell nice, but was kind of sloppy to put on. I won’t be repurchasing myself.

Disappointed

I received this as part of an Aveeno package from Chickadvisor, to review for free. I was excited to try this, because of the unique primer/serum formula, as well as possible brightening results. Upon opening, I was immediately hit with the smell first of all. It's a bit hard to describe, but it's a very VERY fragranced smell with notes of citrus and almost a cleaner vibe. I was hesitant to even try it, because the smell was so strong, but after I swatched this, it didn't irritate my skin, so I continued with the testing. I used this product for several days both in the morning and evening, along with another Aveeno item that I received in this package. I didn't notice a benefit with this product like I did with the other. As a serum, it didn't really sink into my skin and left it a bit tacky. Which, as a primer is sort of what you want, however it didn't feel like a good sort of tacky....it felt like when you get a cleaner on your skin and don't wash it off. But I continued to use it and sadly had to stop using both products because I ended up breaking out with a few cystic acne spots. I don't normally get acne unless it is hormone or ingredient related, and all of the ingredients in this should have been okay, so I can only guess that it was the fragrance that caused the problem. I can't really recommend this product, but if they made one that was unscented or less scented, I would give it another try to see if it would work for me.

Ok but no wow factor

I received this product to try #gotitfree from chick advisor. I was super excited and I use both serum and primer daily. Now I liked the light scent and easy application. What I did not like was the oily feeling on my skin. I did not find it moisturizing at all it just really fell short from what I was hoping it would be . I will stick to my serum and primer routine that I currently have.

Great product

J'ai recu ce produit de Chickadvisor: AVEENO POSITIVELY RADIANT MAXGLOW SERUM & PRIMER pour le tester. j'ai adoré l'expérience de recevoir des produits a tester a la maison. Ca fait 2 semaines que je l'ai recu et que j'utilise au quotidien. L'odeur est tellement bonne et l'effet est quasi instantané. C'est une excellente base pour le maquillage aussi. N'oublier pas de mettre un fdt ou une creme avec un indice de protection solaire.
