nice

first of all very cute bottle but i wish it had a dropper . its really very hydrating but the only thing that puts me off is the fragrance . my makeup glided very well on it.

Not bad

I recieved this product for review for free. How to use, must shake bottle well, I applied with fingers & patted on clean skin. I used this serum/primer on its own without makeup - made my skin soft & a natural glow. I also tried it before applying my makeup didn't feel it did very much with keeping my makeup smooth or lasting long. I liked the scent of this product. Would use this as a serum for my skincare routine but not used a primer. I have combo skin

Good first impression!

I havne't been using this primer very long, as I just recieved it to test out. So this review is just a first impression.
The primer sinks in very fast which is nice. You don't have to wait very long after applying it to put your makeup on. I have normal/combination skin, which this winter has gotten drier, but normally I end up a little oily by the end of the day. Using this hasn't increased that oiliness, so that is a nice bonus!
the product itself has a very light scent, so it shouldn't bother most people. You do have to give it a good shake to get it mixed up properly, but you need very little, so the bottle should last a fairly long time(which is nice because its not cheap).
I already use a serum earlier in my skincare routine, so I don't need the serum benefits of this primer, but it doesnt hurt!
I will probably come back to flush out this review more once I have used it longer than a few days. So far no breakouts!

it did not work for me

I was excited to try the Aveeno positively radiant maxglow serum+primer when i received it from Chick advisor but I will say i was not impressed at all. I am a big fan of serums and have tried a few but to find one which says it can be used a primer got me pretty excited. However, I began noticing a few prickly heat looking breakouts after few uses and so i discontinued. One thing i liked about it is the fact that it did tone down my moisturizer by reducing the shine, and rather replaced it with a more natural glow. I am on the shiny but dry skin side and so, a primer that keeps my skin matt is essential and this did not do the trick for me. I also do not really like the consistency or texture as it felt watery and more like diluted aloe vera gel. But i liked that it easily absorbed into my skin while i pat. I wish it had a dropper to make dispensing the product alot better. I would recommend to anyone with normal skin.I like that it provided moisture to my dry skin always.

Mixed Feelings!

I have mixed feelings about this product. The first problem is the price point. It costs $31.99 for 45ml at my local pharmacy. Unless this product is incredible; that price is far too high for a drugstore product. If I were to spend that much on a primer, I would likely be going to a high end store like Sephora. Second, while this product makes a great serum, I did not find it an effective makeup primer. It’s nice and hydrating when you put it on and it gives you a beautiful radiant glow. It dries down fairly quickly. I have tried putting a high end foundation over it and it looked nice, but my makeup transferred very bad. I tried with a high end BB cream, same thing. I also tried both not setting and setting my makeup with a high end powder and it still transferred. It did not seem to hold onto my makeup well at all, but I really think it’s fine on its own as a part of skincare maybe at night. That’s how I will use it, but I wouldn’t repurchase this item as the cons outweigh the pros.

I received Aveeno Positively Radiant Maxglow Serum & Primer for free to try it out. I like that this product is hypoallergenic,
non-comedogenic, paraben-free and phthalate-free. I hoped it would work perfect for my combination skin but unfortunately I was disappointed. My face was too shiny and oily after one application of this primer. I am not sure I am going to buy it in future. There are other primers which work better for my skin.

Did not like it that much

I was very excited to try this product out when I saw it because of intriguing qualities to it. How can a primer have two different solutions in one, and most of the primers are cream/lotion based. This one just did not cut it for me. It's very messy to use and it doesn't specify how many drops are needed for priming. I did not like the feeling it left on my face.

Je n'aime pas ce produit

J'ai reçu le serum+base Aveeno MaxGlow afin de le tester gratuitement. Malheureusement, je n'ai pas du tout aimé le produit. Tout d'abord, mon visage est resté très huileux et je n'aime vraiment pas cette sensation sur ma peau. Deuxièmement, mon maquillage était plus difficile à appliquer, on dirait que mon trait de crayon "bavait" alors que c'est supposé servir de base et aider à faire tenir la maquillage. Point positif, j'ai adoré son délicat parfum!
