Love this product

I received this product as a free trial review product. After shaking the bottle, I applied the the serum to my face. It felt a bit oily to start but was quickly absorbed into my skin. It gave my skin a really soft texture. It also had a fresh hint of kiwi scent which I liked a lot. The bottle could have a different opening to dispense the serum better.

Strange concept

I got this product to review from the chick advisor product review club.

This has two layers you have to shake together. One to use as a serum and one as a primer. You're supposed to use your fingers to apply

I find the concept strange because I have things like moisturizer that go on between my serum and primer. Also it's so liquidy that fingers aren't the best to apply it

I like the quality but maybe not the concept.

Add a Little Moisture to Your Life

I received this product for free from ChickAdvisor to try in exchange for my honest opinion.

I quite enjoyed this primer and serum. I like the fact of combining two products in to one. When i'm getting ready in the morning any time I can save is helpful so I appreciate 2 in 1 products.

I loved the way this product smells. It's very light, airy and spring-like. The consistency is light and feels refreshing and not sticky at all. I felt like this product did give my skin a glow when used after my moisturizer and helped to to provide a smooth canvas for my makeup application.

Now that my skin is just coming out of the Winter months it can use all the help it can get and I feel like this serum gives my skin an extra boost. The only suggestion I would make is that this product would be a little easier to dispense and less messy if it came with a dropper or a better dispensing method than what it currently has. I feel like there would be less wastage of the product in the cap.

I do think you get a lot of product in this bottle as you only need 3-5 drops for full face coverage. The average cost is approximately $26.00 depending on where you purchase from. This bottle can easily last you 6 months plus so I think the value is there.

I would rate this product a 4/5 overall and would recommend to family and friends.

Sérum et primer

Elle a aussi aimer le deuxième produit que contenait la boite aveeno. Aussi facile à utiliser que le premier, il se verse en bonne quantité et a la même petite odeur légère. C'est un produit qu'elle a utiliser la fin de sa routine de soin de la peau. Super a appliquer avant le maquillage.

Not for my skin type

I’ve got combination skin and was originally excited to see a two in one product to simplify my routine however I find that switching from my everyday vitamin c serum to this has actually made my skin less glowy. I’ve tried later this on just as a primer and as a serum/primer duo but neither makes my makeup last any longer. This might work better for someone with more sensitive skin or drier skin but it’s a pass for me.

Love using this product for my skin.
It absorbs well and really quickly and leaves my skin with a positive glow afterwards
my skin also feels smooth throughout the day
this product is also gentle on my skin!

Thanks a million @chickadvisor and @aveenocanada for introducing me to Positively Radiant MaxGlow. This serum + primer is fabulous!
It's really unique formula must be shaken before use, as it separates into layers. I was a bit worried that it would be a bother to apply, however, the glass bottle dispenses just enough each time. And it smells so good too!

Aveeno Positively Radiant Maxglow 2-in-1Serum &Primer;

I received this product free of cost for a review and I'm grateful to ChickAdvisor for letting me try it as I have never used Aveeno facial products before.
I wasn't even aware that serum and primer could be combined in one product. Both serum and primer are a part of my skin routine.
It comes in very convenient packaging and has two parts to it, the oily one and the liquid one. You have to make sure you shake the bottle to activate the product before the use, then turn it upside down and release a few drops of the product. Then spread the liquid between your palms and gently tap into your face. I would prefer a pump but this packaging is good enough. It has a nice fresh scent to it, I found it a bit strong, though.
The product has a very nice and relatively light texture and easily spreads and absorbs into the skin and feels very nice due to the fact that it contains few different oils such as macadamia, sunflower, and jojoba. It also contains kiwi and soya that promote moisture and even tone. I would say the product does what it promises to do in terms of evening and moisturizing. As this product is intended to be both serum and primer it has to be applied on your moisturizer to prepare your skin for make-up. I do think it softens your skin but it feels a bit too light for a serum. I received my product just a week ago so I'm not sure if I had enough time to see the results. Speaking about its functioning as a primer I would say I am not convinced it can be one due to its oily texture. Because this product contains oils I think it is great as a night moisturizer. Even though it absorbs into your skin relatively fast you still need to wait for a bit before you could go to the next step. Skin does feel very soft and supple but I'm not sure this product primes it for make-up application as promised. I wouldn't use it as a primer.
As for the glow, I think I need more time to be able to determine if it makes my skin glow, but I'm not too worried about this part.
I think its a great value product given that it contains a bunch of natural ingredients, is paraben-free and hypoallergenic. Also, its a very gentle which I love.
I take my skin routine seriously and therefore always sample different products. I think important because it allows to customize your skin routine. For this reason, I definitely recommend this product to my family and friends. It has a number of benefits and might work perfectly for others.

Not a fan

I received this product to review from Chickadvisor.

I only had a week to test this so it is a first impression.

I was very interested by this biphased serum. But I was disappointed when I opened it, and smelled how strong this is. I don't like strongly fragranced items, and this is unfortunately one of them.

Another thing I didn't like about this is the design of the packaging. I found the cap very difficult to remove. The serum also gets around the opening and make it oily, which actually made the opening even more difficult. I don't look forward to try and open the lid each time.

The serum itself is not bad. After applying it, it sinks in quickly and that strong scent slowly goes away.

However, I find that it's okay in the result to be honest. It leaves my skin feeling moisturized but not sufficiently hydrated. I still need to apply more hydrating moisturizer in order to feel balanced.

I just really don't think this serum is for me and I don't think I would repurchase.

Super sérum
