Meh
I suffer from eczema on my hands and i was really looking forward to trying this. I followed the simple steps and enjoyed a 30 minute tv show. The result...just ok? I didnt feel like my hands were any more moisturized or softer. I dont think it made a big impression for me so i do not recommend and would not purchase.
Average moisturizer
Although I love Aveeno products, I didn't find this one to be amazing. The product application was awkward to put on and although my hands were soft afterwards it didn't moisturizer any different or stand out from other hand moisturizers. I'd rather spend 30 seconds rubbing some on my hands than waiting for this product to work and having the same result.
Aveeno Hand Mask
Gloves felt like hair dying gloves and inside was packed with lotion, I do like that there is straps on the side to ensure them staying on. Left my hands feeling greasy even after running all the residual product into my skin and up to my forearms because there was so much product. This is a pass for me.
Aveeno hand mask not for me
I was initially excited about this hand mask because Aveeno rocks!... however I was not impressed with the gloves as the tabs did not stay closed and I felt that there wasn't enough cream inside them... I would still buy their other products though still as I feel they are reputable.
I love the process of doing this hand mask. And it felt cool. Immediately my hands were more moisturized but as soon as you wash your hands next, they felt so dry. They were cracking around my fingers and my cuticles we're feeling extra dry.
April Campbell
I got this free to test out from Chick Advisor and it moisturized but I didn’t feel it was really any better or longer lasting than using regular moisturizer. It was kinda fun to try out and I even put the bags over my feet after the 10 min on my hands, but for the price of about $6 a pop I will have to pass.
Nope, not yet.
Hand element was better than foot element but that isn't saying much. I do love their formula...BUT...what in the heck were they thinking when they thought it was a good idea to release this great formula in crappy packaging.
The piece that was over the sticker never came off properly, the tape never stuck properly. Too big, and flimsy and drippy wet and, if it had of stayed on my feet would have been even softer and smoother for longer.
I would pay a little more for this product if it goes back to the drawing board but, right now NO WAY!
Hand mask is effective but format needs work
Thanks To chickadvisor #gotitfree I was able to try this product for free to review. I find the smell quite pleasant without overdoing the Shea butter notes. I found this product left my hand feeling smooth but no differently then had a rubbed some lotion on my hands . I would have liked to have seen this product in a paraffin like format. Perhaps a tube than when applied warms naturally before peeling off . I find the single use format not very environmentally friendly. I also found it somewhat awkward having the opening at the bottom of the package and not the top. The product on the positive side is affordable and easily found at my local grocery store.
Lotion just as good.
I'm always up for a good mask. Whether it is for my face, feet, or hands in this case. I'm going to start with the packaging or more specific the instructions. It doesn't take a genius or anything to figure out how to "use" these masks, but you would think that they would tell you to unwrap the mask, and then "pull apart" to make your pair. Second issue I have is that the straps may or may not work to help secure. Not a big deal, but something to mention. As you can probably guess by my heading I didn't really find these to be "amazing". Did these help my dry hands? Yes, but I feel like I could of achieved the same results with any of my other lotions. Just to be noted, the packaging does say "fragrance free" but I do find there is a soft classic Aveeno oat smell. It's very faint but like I said just to be noted. Can I recommend these? If your looking for something to add to your at-home spa experience then sure, give these a go. But for the amount you spend compared to the results, you maybe disappointed. Thanks to @chickadvisor & @aveenocanada for the chance to try this hand mask #forfree in exchange for this review. #gotitfree #tryAveenoCrackedSkinRelief
Hand mask
I received this product in exchange of a review.
I've been using Aveeno products for years, but this is the first time that I used their hand mask. It's easy to use and there's no perfume. You slip your hands inside the pouch, and leave for 20-30 minutes while watching tv. The closing flap keeps opening, but it didn't ruin the experience nor the effect of the mask. The product is stuck inside the pouch, so there's no nothing leaking on the floor. My hands felt soft and moisturized, but the effect didn't last that long. I feel that I would have to use the mask a few times in order to see a result.
I would recommend to try at least once to see if you like it or if you never tried a hand mask before. I would use this hand mask when I want to do an at home spa or whenever I have 30 minutes of free time.
