Not Restorative

I was excited to try this as I have very dry skin but only in certain areas of my arms and legs. It applies dry and doesn't last very long before I have to apply again. It seems to just temporarily cover the dryness. The same spots remain dry the same way.

Not as great

I have very dry and sensitive skin and the cream did provide some moisturizing, it definitely did not help my hand in the long run. I felt the moisturizing on my hands disappear within minutes after applying. It might be great cream for someone that does not have very dry and sensitive skin but the cream was not good for my skin issues.

Sticky Residue

I was excited to receive this sample as it seems this winter has done a number on the moisture level in my hands. The scent of the formula is consistent with what you would expect from an Aveeno product, however I was extremely disappointed in the length of time that it took to fully absorb into my skin and it left a gross sticky residue on my skin.

Kind of weird

This cream smells nice and feels soothing and cooling when you put it on. What's strange is that it absorbs very quickly but leaves my skin kind of sticky - literally all day long. I thought ok, maybe because it's sort of sticky I don't need a primer on top to apply foundation - big mistake, the makeup looked horrible and rubbed off really quickly. I've used this cream for 6 days and it broke me out pretty bad, though that could be because it's a new product I'm introducing - usually I would give it at least 2 weeks but couldn't continue with this one because of the stickiness issue. Would not recommend.

Would not buy!!! Sticky and yucky!

Did not soak into my skin and left it feeling sticky. My hands felt like they had a film on them for about 10 minutes. My skin is still dry. Would not purchase ans would not recommend to anyone.

Meh

It didn’t seem to sink into the skin and hydrate it just sat on the top layer of skin and washed off and didn’t do anything for me; no I would not recommend it to a friend

Too greasy for Marilyn

I found this product to be too greasy for my liking. I tried washing it off a few minutes after application and found that it continued to leave a greasy film on my hands. This makes me wonder what exactly is in the product and more importantly, what is my skin absorbing?

I won't continue to use this particular product by Aveeno.

Disappointed

Let me start by saying that I normally love Aveeno products, I'm a fan. I had high hopes for the Restorative Skin Therapy cream. I used it 3-4 times a day on my hands, as they are my primary problem with severe dryness and finger splits. The cream absorbs well, I am able to use my tablet afterwards without tacky fingerprints. My hands felt soft for a short time, but soon returned to being dry and I have more new splits on my fingertips since using this. I'm afraid for me this product does not provide enough moisture, healing or extended comfort, and does not aid in prevention of dryness and damaged skin.
