Aveeno Tone and Texture was just ok

Aveeno Tone and Texture Renewing Body Scrub was just ok. It didn’t really make any improvements on my skin as I had hoped it would. I like the fact it was unscented but it’s not a product that I will go out of my way to purchase.

Good but not great product

Product is good if the skin is sensitive and require a light scrubbing but i am personally not impressed as i have black heads amd it is not much effective to me as required.

Didn't feel like a body scrub

I used Aveeno's tone and texture renewing body scrub for a couple of weeks. I have sensitive and dry skin. This product may be too gentle for my needs even when I used exfoliating bath gloves. The texture and effectiveness for me is in between body wash and body scrub. For those who have very sensitive skin, it may work better for you.

Just another bath scrub

I received this product as a sample. Wonderful full size bottle. But once using for 3-4wks I Didn’t see a difference in this like smoother or toner skin. Smells great something new to try nothing special.

I tested this Aveeno Tone + Texture Renewing Body Scrub for nearly one month. I used this head to toe product in the shower, on my wet skin. I mostly focused on lightly scrubbing my upper arms and thighs as I have KP bumps after pregnancy. I use this product 2-3 times a week to gently exfoliate my skin and help even out my skin tone. The scrubs prebiotic oat formula is easy to squeeze out of the tube. I find many body scrubs are in containers with lids, and they can get messy to use.

Aveeno Tone + Texture Renewing Body Scrub is suitable for all skin types, including dry and sensitive skin. It's Fragrance Free, which I didn't like because I prefer my products to be scented. The texture did not have enough exfoliant to it to be effective on my skin. Sure, my skin felt clean and a little smoother, but it was too gentle to be effective in my opinion. It did not irritate and was moisturizing enough. I like that this product is lightweight, and claims to be paraben-free, sulfate-free, phthalate-free, soap-free, and dye-free. I think this Aveeno Body Scrub would be good for someone with sensitive skin looking to add very gentle exfoliation to their skin care routine, but if you are looking for a nice abrasive scrub that makes you feel exfoliated, this is not it.

This product has its pros and cons

This product takes at least more than one use to see any kind of result. I have very very dry skin and it helped a bit after about the 3rd or 4th time using it. The exfoliation is great but for the really dry spots it needs a little more. You don’t need to use a lot of it each time either, a little goes a long way especially when the bottle isn’t very big. I got it for free to try but I’m not sure I’d buy it for myself. I recommend it to someone who doesn’t have very dry skin.

Works well but smells terrible

I wanted to love this but it smelled so bad. My skin was super soft, and felt renewed but it smelled so bad I had to wash over it with another body soap.

AVEENO Tone + Texture Renewing Body Scrub works ok

I was excited to try this product. When I used it, it seemed to go on well and exfoliate. Smell was decent. There are perhaps a few questionable ingredients that might not get a high rating on the EWG's Cosmetic Database. I'm not sure how much this product would cost. If it was a reasonable price, I might consider buying it. Overall, it's an okay product worth trying.

Gentle, soft for sensitive skin

This is a very gentle body scrub packed inside a nice big tubr. In the shower, I use a small amount on a loofah and it lathers up really well. There are tiny beads that you can feel physically exfoliating your skin, but they are not abrasive or rough in any way. It leaves skin feeling clean, soft and refreshed. The scrub is also super hydrating but will require moisturizing afterwards.

This scrub is a wonderful neutral-ground all-around champ! It’s fragrance-free, and it’s not quite as harsh as many scrubs I’ve had in the past! This would be so perfect for anyone with sensitive skin!

I personally think I would choose one that’s a little more heavy duty on the grit, but that’s just my personal preference. There was nothing wrong with this Aveeno Scrub at all, in fact it really worked well and my skin felt moisturized and smooth after using it in the tub. It is a perfect middle ground choice! It’s the goldilocks scrub! Not too harsh, not too soft!

I strongly recommend anyone to try this! I think it’s an excellent choice for anyone with sensitive skin or anyone scent sensitive.
