First off I got to try this product for free as part of the chick Advisor product review club. I found that this product was a thicker cream then i expected but it a little goes a long way and absorbs nicely with no afterfeel or scent. I found my skin calms, as in no irritation what so ever and not red blots i can get after cleansing and moisturizing my skin. My skin feel and looks soft and smooth. Love it!

Aveeno keeps surprising me

I received this moisturizer for free to try. Aveeno is one of my favourite brand, the best products a reasonable price. But really what I loved the best is the spa protection, that is a must that all the moisturizer should have. Bravo Aveeno you did it again.

Un Hydratant Quotidien avec SPF à porter SEUL!

Un très bon hydratant avec SPF 30 mais pas parfait...

J'aime beaucoup la délicate odeur (léger floral). La formule est très hydratante ce qui est parfait pour ma peau sèche et sensible. Ayant la peau très acnéique, je suis heureuse de constater que ce produit est réellement non-comédogène. J'ai testé le facteur SPF en voyage et je n'ai absolument pas brûlé (yay!)

Petits bémols: Il y a un léger effet blanchâtre sur la peau après l'application (White Cast). De plus comme le produit ne pénètre pas totalement, il rend l'application de mon maquillage habituel quasi impossible!

En résumé, cet hydratant quotidien avec SPF est parfait pour une utilisation SEUL (sans maquillage) et assez doux pour les peaux les plus sensible. Le format pompe est aussi pratique et sans gâchis.

Wonderful product

I received this product from chick advisor for free to try and it is wonderful, it sooths my skin and takes a lot of the redness out of my skin. The best part it has SPF in it to protect my skin from the sun.

Donne un hâle blanc - s'estompe mal

Je voulais vraiment aimer cette lotion d'Aveeno, mais ça n'a simplement pas marché pour moi.
J'ai reçu cette lotion de ChickAdvisor pour l'essayer gratuitement, et j'étais vraiment vendue à l'idée d'avoir une lotion qui intègre un écran solaire, puisque ça m'enlève une étape dans ma routine matinale.

Le problème, c'est que cette lotion n'est pas assez hydratante pour les parties sèches de ma peau. (J'imagine que l'avantage, c'est qu'elle n'est pas graisseuse, comme plusieurs écrans solaires.)

Par ailleurs, la lotion est vraiment blanche et s'estompe mal. La couleur blanche laisse un hâle très pâle sur la peau. Ça fait en sortes que cette lotion ne peut pas vraiment fonctionner pour les personnes de couleur - à moins qu'elles couvrent le tout avec un fond de teint.

Brightened my Skin, Left a Glow without irritation

I received this product for free to review from chick advisory. I have always enjoyed the Aveeno daily SPF moisturizer and was very excited to try out the formula for sensitive skin as I do suffer from sensitive skin for many months of the year. The packaging was the same, easy to use, sleek, packaging as the original formal, it felt the same on my fingers, however, it did leave a somewhat sticky, tacky residue on my face for much after the day after I applied. I tried applying a bit less but felt I needed more coverage. The moisturizer component of it left my skin soft and bright looking, which I loved! You cant go wrong buying this moisturizing SPF from Aveeno if you have sensitive skin.

Really nice feeling and soft scent

I really like this product because it isn't too thick or thin, and left my face feeling really soft, especially in this dry weather. It also has a nice soft smell too which I like. #gotitfree

Not my favourite

So I got this product for free to try from Chick Advisor. I will say I am often hit and miss with Aveeno products - some I love, and some I don't. Unfortunately, this is one that I don't love. First off the good points. It advertises that it is fragrance free and I would say this is accurate. Although it does have a slight smell to it, it does not have any strong added scent - the smell that it has is barely noticeable and I think is just a result of the ingredients - they aren't able to completely remove any smell at all. I could smell it while it was on my fingers, but once rubbed in to my skin, I could smell nothing at all. I also did find that it was mild - it definitely did not irritate my skin or leave it red. Now for the things I didn't like. First of all I did not enjoy the feeling of it on my skin. While in general it went on light and it didn't feel heavy on my face, I found it left my face feeling kind of gritty and dirty to the touch. Almost as if I had been out in the heat sweating, and then the sweat dried on my face. Normally I use a facial sunscreen with moisturizer in it and it feels like NOTHING is on my skin, so I had higher expectations for something that was supposed to be a moisturizer first, with sunscreen added into it. The other major issue I have with it is the cost. I find Aveeno products to be very pricy! If I really like the product I am definitely willing to pay more, but I wouldn't pay more for this. As I mentioned, I usually just use a facial sunscreen (same SPF 30) and when I compared the prices, my usual brand is $0.20/mL, while the Aveeno is $0.26/mL - while this may not seem like a lot, it works out to being about $10 per 50mL bottle of the stuff I like BETTER and $18 for a 68mL bottle of the Aveeno (these prices are from Walmart - I shudder to think how much the Aveeno would be at Shoppers!). I'd rather stick with my brand!

Reduced the redness in my skin right away!

Combined with the cleanser, these 2 products have been the most successful so far at reducing the redness in my face (especially after taking a hot shower). I used the cleanser while in the shower, which reduced some of the redness already. Then after drying my fave, I applied this moisturizer and waited a little. Members of my family noticed right away, when I stepped out of the bathroom, that my skin was very very calm compared to other times that they've seen me step out of the bathroom post-shower. I did find that when I applied another layer of the moisturizer (because my skin gets really dry in the winter, and need a little more help), the sunscreen started collecting on my eyebrows, and along the edges of my face. I do appreciate that there is sunscreen in this moisturizer, but could do without it as well. That being said, I think that this moisturizer would be perfect for me during the summer months, because I would need to use less product (so there would be no accumulation of sunscreen), and because of the SPF 30,

Une crème hydratante non irritante!

J’utilise depuis un certain temps une autre crème pour le visage que j’adore. Je ne m’attendais surtout pas à vouloir « aimer » une autre crème pour le visage. Moi quand j’aime j’aime! Mais bon je dois avouer que la crème Aveeno est aussi bonne que celle que j’utilise présentement et même que je n’y verrais que du feu si on interchangeait mes pots pour un test à l’aveugle. Donc un avantage de plus elle a une protection pour le soleil. Toujours un plus de se protéger. Comme tous leur produits, c’est abordable et efficace.
