A nice change from the usual

I have a my usual products that I use to wash my face so I was hesistant to try something new. I was pleased with the Aveeno Hydrating Gel Cleanser and the gel was a nice change in texture.

Will I break from my usual, probably not, but I know I can go back if I need to.

LOVE the silky feel

I was chose to try Aveeno ultra calming and hydrating gel cleanser. Thank you Chick Advisor and Aveeno for the free full size samples. I love how it makes my face feel after I use it. I definitely will be adding this to my list of products to buy.

Works good.

I found this one hard to rate because I normally just use moisturizer and not a cleansing gel. I was a little sceptical, but found that it worked well. I would probably use it again.

Leaves me nice and smooth

This cleanser is so light! I use it in the evening and love it. I haven't tried to remove makeup with it yet, so I cannot comment on it's effectiveness for that aspect, but I know that I wakeup with a fresh face and don't have to use toner as much.

Wouldn't purchase

I found this product to be sticky feeling almost like a glue. I didn't enjoy using this product at all. Also it was hard to get out of the tube it was sticky so you really had to squeeze hard to get some out to use. I wouldn't recommend or use in the future.

Lovely cleanser

I suffer from dry itchy skin all winter long so I have tried everything under the sun to try and calm it down. This is the product I have been looking for, I do believe this has been the best product I have used and will definitely be purchasing this in the future. I don't believe there is anything I can buy over the counter that will ever take away all of the irritation however certain products perform far better than others and this has been the best so far!

what's "hydrating" about this gel cleanser?

I don't think I would buy this product based on the fact that it did the opposite for my face skin than what it's intent is. It dried my skin out a lot, which then I required further skin moisturizers to correct the issue...it's like it stripped my skin of all it's natural oils. I think if someone has oily skin, that this would be a good cleanser for them, but for me it just dried my skin out and maybe that's because the ingredients aren't all pure/natural.

I wet my face and lathered the gel. It was scent free and lathered very nicely. After rinsing my face I noticed immediately that my face felt clean and soft. I have extremely dry and sensitive skin. This product was so gentle and truly didn’t further dry my skin.
It’s hard to find a gentle cleanser that actually cleanse deep down dirt and makeup. My face truly felt clean and refreshed. I will be purchasing Aveeno for my new face wash for now on. Also, price is very comparable to other cleansers.

Ultra Calming, Ultra Fast!

AVEENO ULTRA-CALMING HYDRATING GEL CLEANSER works! When I get out of the hot tub and take a shower using soap, I break out in small hives. Aveeno Ultra-Calming cleanser calmed my skin so it didn't react or get a rash. So easy to use, love the flip top lid. It smells great not girly at all. Like the gel, a little goes a long way and no waste like with bits of soap crumbling or drying out. I will be making this a regular item as part of my cleansing routine.

Effective sensitive cleanser

I have pretty sensitive skin so a lot of cleansers often dry out my skin, but this cleanser was nice and lightweight and cooling.
I can use it a few times a day and its effective at removing makeup (still need extra remover for eyes though).
It calms the redness that I sometimes have as well. I would definitely continue to use this product.
