My skin loves this cleanser!

I received this product for free as part of the Chick advisor Product Review Club. This cleanser leaves my skin feeling fresh,soft and clean. It does a good job at removing dirt and makeup. And most importantly it doesn't make my skin feel dry after using it. A little goes a long way with this cleanser. And most importantly it did not cause any irritation to my sensitive skin.

Very little needed to work up a luxurious lather!

Aveeno’s Ultra Calming Hydrating Gel Cleanser cleansed my skin without stripping it completely. You only need a pea-sized amount of product to do your whole face and neck. The gel cleanser creates a luxurious lather which sweeps away impurities and dead skin cells leaving your face feeling fresh and smooth. Definitely recommend following up with the Aveeno Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer to replenish your skins moisture barrier after cleansing. As someone with mild-moderate skin sensitivities I Was deeply impressed with Aveeno’s Ultra Calming line.

Love this gel cleanser!

I’m a big fan of Aveeno products and this cleanser is no exception, So you can imagine my excitement when I got chosen to try and review this produc! My skin does get irritated and dry sometimes so I need to be careful with what products I use on my face, and this one worked amazing! There is little to no scent, It works well and leaves my face feeling soft and smooth. I also really enjoy using it with my facial brush for that extra deep clean! 100% would buy this product again!

Ultra Calming Cleanser

This cleanser has an average price point, but feels like a more expensive brand. It is not fragranced and your face feels very clean afterwards. I only wish that it foamed up more for an even deeper clean. When I used my facial brush I got a more effective result. This is only due to the fact that my last few cleansers have been of the foaming variety. I have tried other Aveeno cleansers before and they resembled more of a cleansing milk, I like this one much better than those. It really compliments the ultra calming moisturizer, as well.

A great non-irritating cleanser

I’m always a fan of Aveeno products and this cleanser is no exception! My skin does get irritated and dry in the colder months so I need to be careful about the types of products I’m using then and this one seems to be soothing and not irritate further, which is huge for me! I do still need an eye makeup remover in addition to this cleanser to get all my makeup off, but that’s a step I’m used to taking. I prefer this gel formula to some of the hydrating cream formulas I’ve tried, that tend to make my skin feel greasy.

Loved it, but needed more umph

I love Aveeno products; I entrust my winter skin to their eczema care line, and I swear by their positively radiant moisturizer in the summer. I have been looking for a new, gentle cleanser and this certainly delivered. I was expecting a more creamy texture, but was surprised to find this is a completely clear gel. The gel is lightly foaming and doesn't feel like it strips the skin like many other gels. Don't underestimate this stuff though; it works great even as a makeup remover. It completely removed my makeup with absolutely no eye irritation. I don't even get those results with other sensitive products designed for eye-makeup removal. I would say this breaks down mascara as well as any other product out there.

After using, my skin felt clean but not tight, but not overly moisturized either. I did notice my acne increased while using this slightly. I noticed small whiteheads cropping up in odd places like my cheeks, and an increased number in my T-zone. I'm not ready to blame the cleanser because I love it so much, but I have a feeling it might not have enough umph to dry out the acne I do have. I am going to keep using it and see whether it might have been another cause, because this is the least irritating product I've ever tried, other than CeraVe (which I do not think cleanses well enough and leaves a residue, almost too much like a lotion).

I did not think my skin looked much more even, however my skin tone has always been varied with reds and pinks in the cheeks. I thought my skin felt very smooth after washing, not flaky or super dry, and it definitely did not cause any extra irritation or redness, which is awesome, because many products do cause redness, especially if they contain harsh ingredients.

Overall, I will absolutely repurchase if I find my skin clears up and my acne was due to some other cause, because It is definitely a perfect one-step cleanser for sensitive skin.

Doesn't irritate my sensitive skin!

This Aveeno Ultra Calming Sensitive Skin Hydrating Gel Cleanser was great on my sensitive skin. I have to sometimes be careful about the products that I use.

This gel cleanser was gentle on my skin (didn't cause any reactions) while still leaving my skin feeling clean. It also didn't dry out my skin.

I will definitely be buying this sensitive skin gel cleanser again.

Soft skin

I received this product as part of the product review club. I have never used any products from Aveeno, but I was always interested to see how they might work. The face wash left my skin feeling very soft and smooth. It lathered up nicely and had a pleasant smell. Even though I wouldn’t say I have overly sensitive skin, it was comforting to think that the product would be more gentle on my skin. I also found that it did help take off make up, even my eye make up. I will definitely be considering buying this product in the future

My skin feels so balanced now!

After using the aveeno ultra-calming hydrating gel cleanser my dry, sensitive skin feels balanced. My skin was not dry or tight feeling after use and there was zero iritation after use.

The gel was thick and created a creamy lather that was able to remove most of my makeup with little effort.

Nice gentle product.

The first thing that really impressed me with this cleanser is that it is completely scent free. Some times when things are natural, they still have a scent or a bit of a earthy smell. I really couldn't notice anything. The product its self is a light gel, that easily smooths over the face. I liked that it wasn't thick, and was easy to wash of with a few splashes of water or a swipe with a cloth. After using my skin felt soft as well as clean. I had no reaction, either in the moment or the following day. I didn't notice any major changes in my skin, but was still satisfied with it due to the fact that it didn't bring on any issues. I was impressed by this product and would recommend it to anyone, especially to those with skin & scent sensitivities.
