Really nice body wash

I liked that this gel cleanser left my skin feeling clean, and not dry. It also didn't irritate my skin when I shaved my legs as well, when a lot of cleansers will make me get really bad razor burn from drying out my skin on top of shaving. It's nice and refreshing and isn't perfumy which I like. #gotitfree

I don't mind it!

So I got this free from Chick Advisor along with a daily moisturizer (Which I did NOT love!). I didn't mind this product though! As stated on the bottle, it's fragrance free so it doesn't have much of a smell when you use it. This can be good if fragrances or perfumes tend to irritate your skin. To be honest, I may have liked it a little more if it DID have a mild, fresh scent to it, but since it is advertised as being fragrance free, I can't really say anything bad about the lack of smell. It's a clear gel so it goes on kind of thick and works into a lather - this is definitely heavier and not a foam cleanser. I found it rinsed off similarly to other gel cleansers I have used (takes a bit more work than a lighter foam) and it left my skin feeling clean, with no irritation or redness. Overall this was not a bad product - it was pretty much as advertised! However, I will say that as with many Aveeno products, I do find this to be a tad pricy. It worked fine, but I don't know if it works any better than my usual (cheaper) gel cleanser. And I prefer the scent and clean feeling my typical brand gives me over this product. Had I not received it for free I probably never would have purchased it on my own. Having said that, if you have sensitive skin and like other Aveeno products (and don't mind shelling out the $$ for them) then I would recommend trying this product!

I never thought cleansers could be moisturizing!

Before I tried this product, I was aware that it would be a calming cleanser, but for some reason I had not realized that it would moisturize my skin as well! Imagine my surprise when I realized that this cleanser felt different from all other cleansers that I've tried before. I thought that maybe I'd used too much product, but when I squinted at the writing on the tube again, I saw that it said "moisturizing." I was really impressed with how nourished, soft, and un-irritated it made my skin look, compared to other times when I step out of the shower. I will continue using this product, and have been recommending it to anyone who will listen!

Excellent cleaner

Let me just say I have never have used a cleanser that is so powerful yet so gentil on my skin it did not irritate my eyes (which most cleaners do) and my face looks so much cleaner and brighter my face felt refreshed. It’s a thick cleaner so a little bit goes along way so you get more bang for your buck. Usually after I cleanse my face I always have makeup residue left on the towel but after I dried my face there was no readout left at all on the towel. This is a excellent product

Un soin facile qui faut la pein

Je n'ai jamais vraiment utilisé de produit nettoyant pour le visage depuis mon adolescence. Mais je dois dire que ma peau et plus douce et plus lumineuse et surtout moins sèche. En cette fin d'hiver c'est très apprécier.
Un petit geste qui ne prends pas de temps avant d’appliquer son hydratant quotidien. De plus le produit n’est pas irritant pour la peau et n’a pas de parfum.
Je le recommande.

Thick but works wonders

This gel cleanser is really thick, to the point hwere it is actually difficult to squeeze out of the container. It's easy to spread however and application is easy (once you get it out of the tube!). It washed off very easily as well, leaving a pleasant calming scent and a calmness over my face. My skin looked refreshed after using, and smooth to the touch which was impressive. A really nice product to use in the morning to help wake me up. #gotitfree

Good morning/2nd cleanser but...

This is an unscented and soap-free gel cleanser that foams without stripping your skin's moisture. Key ingredients are nourishing oats and chamomiles but they are listed at the bottom... A little goes a long way from this big tube of 141g/5oz hence great value for your buck (even more on sale!).

So far, I think it's a great cleanser for those who have very sensitive skin especially those who can't handle scented products. I would recommend this as a morning cleanser or as a second cleanser at night. It claims to remove dirt, oil, pollutants and makeup but I don't think it removes waterproof makeup well. Personally, I'm not impressed so far but perhaps light makeup such as tinted moisturizer or tinted lip balm might work better in my opinion. My skin does not love or hate it but I can see how others might hence I would still recommend it.

Nice cleanser

I received the ultra calming cleanser to try for free.
It has no smell, goes on nicely.
I find it is harder/longer to rinse off but does rinse off completely and leaves the skin feeling clean and refreshed. Not irritated. My skin definitely felt smooth and nice.

Superb!

I hadn't tried a great face cleanser in a while, and I'm REALLY GLAD I got to try this one!! :] Thank you ChickAdvisor and Aveeno for the chance and the freebies! (#gotitfree) I love the gel texture, even though it felt a bit heavy on my hands at the beginning, when applied to my face the texture was incredibly light and frothy. It takes a bit to rinse off, but it definitely takes all impurities and makeup away! It's virtually unscented, which makes it great for those with any scent sensitivities. My skin was left very clean, refreshed, and soft. I was very satisfied with the results and I'll definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a mild, good quality gel cleanser!!

good for morning

i love it has no cent, since i have quiet senstive skin, and it won't dry your skin after wash. the problem is i am more forming cleanser person, so i feel it is not something that you can use to remove your make up. I think it is good for the morning wash routine.
