Dried out my skin!

I really like the smell of the product and was excited about it's different claims. Unfortunately, it caused my already dry skin to lose hydration and would make my skin uncomfortable even after I moisturized. Unfortunately would not recommend.

Wish it worked a little better

I like this cleanser because it doesn't dry out my skin like my usual brand, but after using it a couple days, I noticed a blemish so i switched back to my usual brand and then noticed a second blemish after going back to the Aveeno. So although I like how it makes my skin feel, I cant use it everyday or ill start breaking out (and im 37)

Unsure about product.

This product slightly caused more redness after I used it, I normally hardly worry about sensitivity of my skin due to; The products that I have been using regularly haven't caused MUCH problems. It's a little TOO thick for my liking.. Not easy to squeeze out of bottle. I believe this product kinda caused me to breakout in Acne.. Possibly not good for people with sensitive / combination / oily skin. My Mother has eczema & I'm not sure if I'd even recommend this product to her either.

A nice face wash

I’ve used the face wash quite a few times since it arrived in the mail and it has left my face feeling soft and clean without feeling dried out.

Some face washes really dry my skin out but this one didn’t.

Works good.

I found this one hard to rate because I normally just use moisturizer and not a cleansing gel. I was a little sceptical, but found that it worked well. I would probably use it again.

I am not a big gel cleanser user but was excited to give this product a try. It lathers up great and smells wonderful. Again i believe it is a little pricey as there are more natural and cheaper ways (realized after i checked ingredients). It left my skin smooth for quite a while after the use. I would purchase again if went on sale.

Gentle cleanser

I received Aveeno's Ultra Calming Hydrating Gel Cleanser free from Chick Advisor to provide an un-biased review of the product.

There are some things I love about this product. The scent is one, as there is none! It's got no fragrance to it, which is great for the skin, as perfumes are normally a drying agent. The texture is also quite nice. It's a thicker gel, so it's not running all over your hands and counter. It's going on the face and waiting to be used. It was cool and soothing to the skin, where I didn't have to rub a lot.

There were some down sides. I didn't find it cleansed as well as other makeup removers, so I had to scrub more around the sensitive eye skin to remove my eyeliner. Around the corners of my eyes, it was red because basically had to scrub to get clean after using. Most days I ended up doing a second cleanse with micellar water to remove the eyeliner to save myself from scrubbing. While doing my eyes, I also swiped the swab over my face and found it still lifted foundation from my skin, so the cleanser didn't take everything off my skin.

At $9.99, there are other gentle cleansers out there that do a better job.

Peau sec

J'ai reçu ce produit gratuitement dans le cadre d'un banc d'essais. J'ai utilisé ce produit 2 fois et c'était suffisant en ce qui me concerne puisque ma peau devenait très sèche après utilisation. Le produit produisait une mousse onctueuse, ce que j'ai apprécié. J'ai aussi apprécié le fait qu'il soit non parfumé. Je ne recommanderais pas ce produit à des personnes qui ont une peau sèche.

Ok cleanser, not worth the steep price tag

I am a junkie when it comes to health and beauty products, and take extra care when it comes to my face. I love that this cleanser was made from more natural ingredients, and it felt like I was putting something good onto my skin. It had a rich, cleansing lather with an ultra light scent, and left my face feeling cleansed without leaving any residue behind. As far as benefits go, I did not notice any change with the texture and tone of my face as the cleanser claims to do. It got the job done, but I would not go out of my way to purchase again.

When a face cleanser claims to be hydrating, I get very skeptical because to me that's just fluff and never shows up to the party. This product I can actually say surprised me a bit. My face does feel quite nice and hydrated after I use this. There was no irritation or redness as well.

A minor issue I have, and I do mean very minor, is I think the formula is a bit too thick for a gel cleanser.

Now the major con, and the one reason I cannot recommend this product. My face was still dirty after using this. There is zero reason to purchase a cleanser if it doesn't cleanse your skin. After washing my face, I used my usual toner and the cotton round had clear evidence that my face was still dirty by the slight brown discoloration. It's really too bad because my face did feel quite nice after this use, but if I know it's not clean, then what's the point?
