I have like 9 years using this cleanser, I always try to change to the newest products and I always come back! My skin is acne prone and very sensitive to soap, but this calm it, it cleanses wonderfully without dry my skin, I think is because it contains thermal water, with this cleanser I'm acne free, I love it! It lasts a long time! You need just a tiny amount to make a good amount of foam, even sometimes I need a double wash, It lasts forever! Worth every penny!

I have terrible combination skin - scaly dry in some places, breaking out in others - and this is the facial wash that I have had the most luck with. Occasionally I still get extra oily, but it has done the best job of anything I've tried in terms of evening things out. A bit pricey (though they recently dropped the regular price - bonus!) but worth it if it works.

I like the Avene products. They are not pumped full of dyes and frangrances.
I do like the texture of the cleanser but it's a little too drying for some areas of
my face. I have combination skin and gel works well for me in the summer.
In the winter I prefer a milk cleanser because I need all the moisture I can get.

I have had acne problems for a very long time and this is the only product that really works for me, it doesnt let the skin dry and slowly restore the skin. Since I use it regularly, I don't have any breakout!
I usually use it in the evening, I clean my face without being harsh, then i rinse it ad leave a little bit on my skin. then I pad dry and I let it 30 minutes before I apply any moisturizer (oil free!). In the morning I simply use cold water, and pad dry.
It was recommended by my dermatologist and worked wonders for me. Hope this helps!

I think this cleanser would work better for those people who have very oily skins. Mine is combination-dry and this stuff totally added dryness to my skin.
It is a little bit harsh and it smells really chemical.
It does not make a lot of foam.
You are supposed to rub it into your face in order to let the anti-blemishes ingredients act.
I will not repurchase because I prefer more gentle cleansers.

This is by far the best cleanser I have used. It's clean, simple, and pure. I have tried many cleansers for years because I have very oily acne-prone skin. This cleanser took off all traces of my makeup, which was a HUGE selling point for me. When I put on my toner with a cotton swab, there was NO makeup left over. It is gentle yet effective, and doesn't use harsh soaps.
It also helps regulate oil secretions for those of you with oily skin. I did notice a change in number of pimples when using this product. Ofcourse you're always going to have to get a full skincare routine together to battle acne, but this product is a great addition to any skincare system, and for anyone who wants to use something more pure and simple. It's especially good for those who are using prescription acne creams because it does its job of cleaning the face and prepping it for the acne cream without adding harsh ingredients to further complicate things.
