I LOVE this mist! It is wonderful after you wash off a face mask, and I also use it to set my make-up. All-around excellent product with multiple uses.
I use the Avene brand faithfully for my face. The water is soothing for my Rosacea. I use makeup remover wipes and follow with a spray of this as a kind of rinse. I also spray my Cavalier Spaniel with it after a walk that leaves him panting! He loves it!
I loved this thermal spring water. It is a multi-functional water. I use it to combine my foundation, to make a hydrating mask, to cool off my after sun skin, to fix my hair, to correct my eye makeup, to finish off my makeup....as you can name it. I use it everyday for all the purposes. I love how hydrating and soothing it is, and the beneficial minerals that inside gives me a sense of relaxing and trust.
I actually got this as a gift. I don't think I would have ever used it if I hadn't received it. But to my surprise, it actually made my skin feel refreshed. Just water, right? It's strange that water can have this effect. I'm quite glad I had this on hand. I bought a facial moisturizer one time, and it just irritated my skin. After washing it off it still stung a bit, so I sprayed some of the thermal spring water and it felt a lot better. I don't use it in my daily routine, but a couple spritz now and again aren't so bad.
I don't get the hype with thermal waters. I don't see any difference when I use them, I don't feel refreshed, if anything it kinda ruins my make up... I wear make up all the time, including summer time.... I hope a thermal water would help my refresh throught the day, but that wasn't the case. Since I have a bottle, is use it to moisten my brushes for certain make up applications, or if I really have the time in the morning spritz some after I have put on my moisturizer... However, I never saw any difference.
I guess it must be my skin... because everyone seems to love them
First off, I know the price of the bottle can be off-putting, but I have found that the product is definitely worth it.
They are normally priced at about $20CND at Shoppers, but can also be found at Rexall/Pharma Plus.
Some might think, "it's only water!" but despite it being "only water", it has definitely helped to soothe my skin when it was irritated by an allergic reaction to some acne spot treatment.
I like that it is also has many different uses:
- relief from burns
- anti-acne treatments
- facial refresher in the summer
- to set makeup, and help mineral foundation not appear flakey
just to list a few.
It comes in 3 different sizes. the 300ml being the largest, and the 50ml being the smallest.
Check out the American website for more information on the product, which can explain more of the uses, and what/how it soothes the skin.
