I love the colors, the stay proof effect and how long it lasts. I dont like how i can feel it all day, and that you need a good remover to get rid of it.
This eye shadow is soooooo professional!!!! It doesn't come on too light or too dark; just the right amount (but then again it also depends on what kind of an applicator or brush you are using). I love it in cake, victorian lace and biscotti - all delicate tints. It also lasts for a reasonably long time. =)
I have the larger size compact than shown (holds 4 eyeshadow or 2 eyeshadow and 1 blush) that I got when the Marc line was still pretty new. The compact is great and has a nice little mirror on the inside lid, but the applicators it comes with aren't so great (they went in the trash). The eyeshadow has nice coverage and is fairly long lasting, but definitely creases if worn for long periods of time. The colour selection has gotten bigger over the past year or so too. The price seems a bit high compared to other eyeshadows, but they do last for a fairly long time.
I love this stuff . Yes its kinda expensive, but not really , i have had my eyeshadow
from mark for a while and i use almost all the time .
Mark is competing against Mac .
Mark is starting to get big, in music videos, mags, ect .
I'm a huge fan of MAC eye shadows because of the quality, but sometimes they can get a bit pricey. I just tried some of Avon's eye shadows from their new line mark, and they are amazing! I feel like I am getting the same/similar quality that I do with MAC eye shadows, but for $6.00/each only!
Note: If you do buy these, it is probably best to buy the Custom Colour Palettes, because they only come in plastic wrapping. I suggest buying two complementary colours and then getting the mini custom colour palette ($6.00) and snap them into place. In total you will spend $18.00 for two colours and a case, whereas with MAC you are paying $14.00/eye shadow.
MAC's current advantage: they have more colours to choose from.
